Welp. It was gonna be the Shaman. It was my last Shaman seed. And it was growing pretty well too. Seed popped in about 12 hours after soaking, and seedling broke soil surface in about 2 days, I was looking forward to a vigorous grow... WHEN SOMETHING PLUCKED IT CLEAN!!!
I guess it was a bird or something. Beheaded clean off. I guess this is one of those external factors when growing outdoors. RIP my shaman lady. You will be remembered.
I had same problem a while back. These days I cut the bottom out of clear plastic bottle and use the bottle as a protective dome. Need to keep ventilation hole on top.
Damn! That sucks bro D: this sorta thing happened to me in my last grow and it took me so long to figure out what did it. At last I caught the sneeky basterd in the act and it was a squirrel! I suggest building some kinda cage, it worked out for me.
@PeachaPie, yeah man, the heartbreak is real. Weird enough, the 60day lemon Auto was left untouched. I’m grateful for that, don’t get me wrong. I’ll think of something to protect my plants. Thanks for stopping by!
Two words: Scarecrow, bro.
I've also seen growers plug their sprinkler timer on manual mode into a motion sensor so that it kicks on for 5 minutes anytime something enters their garden..
Just randomizing the hose/sprinkler timer somewhat will prevent the little buggers to a degree.
