4l pot of a mix of coco coir, perlite and clay pebbles, with proportion of about 4:3:1 between each component. Mixed in 30ml of dolomite lime into the medium to offset any potential issues with lack of Ca and Mg, although a supplement will likely be needed. Dolomite will also help to prevent the sudden PH drops, however it may keep PH higher than needed as well as potentially produce a higher run-off PPM, I had some serious issues with the latter during the previous grow.
Diluted the medium with a feed of NPK ratio of 3:1:2 using a mixture of ammonium nitrate with Flora Duo A/B before planting. Haven't been watering the plant yet, the medium feels moist so only applied occasional sprays of distilled water to it.
2 quantum boards are used as a light source with 120W each, 240W combined. I expect it to run at around 50%-60% capacity keeping the light intensity at around 70K Lux throughout the grow, however it will be lower at the seedling stage.
The plant had a very hard time sprouting, there was something wrong with the batch of the seed, perhaps those were two old. Two seeds did not sprout, the third one took four days before it was fit for planting. Even then it took it over two days to come out of the soil and it could not get rid of the shell on its own, some help had to be given.
After rather slow start things picked up a bit by the end of the week, the plant let out the first level of single finger leaves. Those looked somewhat unusual, kinda split in the middle to form two mirror image halves. Not sure if that is another indication of bad seeds, or maybe that is how indica phenotype presents itself, I had no experience growing it before.
