Bloom Room

WELL WHAT A WEEK!! I heard a grower said once;"even the greatest grower makes F-ups but its how you solve that problem that makes you a exceptional grower". It started with a oscillating fan that burned out and didn't have that size fan extra so we had to make due with a smaller one till we can get to a shop that sells industrial fans. That was easily Fixed but what happened next shocked us to the core; early in the week one night I left the ceiling light on in the Bloom room and only realized the next light cycle!!! EXTRA 12 HOURS OF LIGHT!!!! what a blunder!! A quickly run trough the plants to make sure we don't see anything strange you know like boy parts forming. We weren't that stressed because we know its still early in flower but there is always a risk, lucky no bad genetics here!! This process continued the whole week to make sure. Write it up in Rookie grower mistakes 101.. I switch to dark cycle after the check and now my light schedule is total out of sync. This is a major problem because I run my lights at night because the days get to hot here in summer. I will fix my light schedule next week and give them some extra sleep, this will stress them out less then extra light. At the end of the week my wife did some defoliation and man they took to it amazingly, INSTANT BUD GROWTH!!!! we also had 2 weeks of rain an the RH was giving us a hiding especially in the AUTO tent .The defoliation helped out A LOT. Lastly I broke a nice big stem of which already had a good size bud forming on it so I tied it up and It work like a charm>SAVE!!. I wanted to increase the Nute strength but with all the stress that was dished out I decided rather to wait. LADIES LOOKING BETTER THEN EVER>
