First Diary so forgive me please. This will be my second run in Auto Pots. As the Auto pots fill from the bottom the roots need to be deep before you can turn the system on or you will get very slow growth and if some HAVE gotten deep while some have not they take off so fast that the size difference can not be made up. With this in mind I used a Clone Machine and let the roots grow quite long. I will then bury them deep so the roots are as close to the bottom as I can get them. I am growing under LED COBs. in the Veg/Early bloom room they are a combo of 3500k and 5000k. The Nutes I am using form a bit of a cocktail. I used the Nutrifield system prior to using Auto pots and a few of the products are quite gunky and are unsuitable for Autopots. So I have had to find something to cover the Bloom Boost food and landed on CX. Cheap and thin and simple to understand. I use Magic Botanic Liquid Humate & Fulvic as it is a nice cheep option and Pondzyme to replace those Cannazym, Multizyme products. I have some left over Veg Ignitor which is super thick but you use vert little. It also stinks. I grow in Coco and frequently reuse it so I use CMX to buffer those Magnesium levels. I will only use it intermittently after the first week. I placed small clay balls about 20mm or so deep. I used small because the bag was ripped and on sale but any size is good. I placed an air bubble thing in one of the pots to see what it can do. Filled each pot with coco and perlite mix adding more perlite than the 70/30 so maybe 55/45 Should be 50/50 but I had my assistant do that part. I will leave the pots in their reservoirs over night to wet them in a bit and will dig a hole down to the balls and pop in a baby.
