Hi all. This is my 1st attempt at a grow, something I’ve wanted to try out for years. I knew I would make numerous mistakes which is why I chose northern Lights in a 2.5 x 2 x 5.11 gorilla tent with platinum p300 led and a 4” rhino carbon filter and 4” rhino fan which died after 3 months so replaced with another make. No intake other than just using 2 fans for air movement she has just started her 9th week today but I think she looks very sad! Suffered from nute lock out in veg and then again mid flower where I flushed with plantlife burn fix. It made a difference in veg but now I am not sure! leaves haves always been super green but I think she looks very skinny and I am not sure if she is just set back a few weeks from any stress or something else? My local hydro shop gave me pk 9-18 last week so I have used twice at half recommended doses as I believe it is very strong and I’ve been using half strength old timers bloom since the flush. It looks to me as though the colas are being suffocated by the leaves and wondering should I trim them back to allow light or will this remove the food supply? I have done it to 1 colas but don’t know if I should just leave her to fill out on her own or has she suffered so much I should learn from my mistakes and move on to the next grow ? And suggestions would be appreciated Regards Turbo0040

Thanks dude! I fed her yesterday (every 3 days when pot is light) lights have been on 2 hours, she has looked like this since her 1st lock out and the leaves are never really reaching for the light which is what is making me think the leaves are suffocating the buds and preventing development? I have trimmed 1 of the colas to see if it makes any difference. I think it could be down to the pot size as she is in 3 gallon fabric pot, I have 5 gallon pots for the next attempt an 2 clones in veg waiting patiently which I will journal from the beginning of flower God luck with your 1 grow dude 👊

@Turbo0040, for sure buddy I would trim off the bigger leaves, I have constantly removed leaves throughout my grow and I can't find any negatives, it increases air flow opens up the plant to receive light and creates more space in the tent so for me defoliation is a no brainer!

Looks good bro apart from the droopy leaves, did you take these pics just after watering or just after lights came back on?? If not i would say you are over watering her as looks like she has nice dark leaves so is well fed, maybe feel how heavy your pot is and if real heavy wait until it's light until you next feed, BTW I grow in hydro and is my 1st time also so hopefully an experienced soil grower will chime in! Good luck bro 👍
