This is my first grow. I am using a Mars Hydro 2x2 tent with the Mars Hydro TS1000 and the AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4. For monitoring temperature and humidity remotely im using Govee WiFi Hygrometer. This will be my journal with Zee, which i got from MSNL seed bank. All comments and insights, good or bad will be much appreciated as this will be a detailed journey which i am hoping to learn as i grow along with her. I have germinated the seed using the paper towel method which lasted 2 days then transported to a jiffy, with the root being 1cm in length. I will be feeding her only water for the first week and as we progress i will be using nutrients. YALA, LETS GOOO! 2 days into vegetation and i think i might have moved Z from the paper towel to the jiffy a day early. I think vegetation is when the first sight of leaves come out so i will consider her still in germination. I have also raised the light to 70cm as temperature was a constant 30celcius with lights on and i want it below that level, im also constantly spraying water in the tent to maintain a 40% to 60% humidity. With the AC Infinity fan its a little tricky trying to find that sweet spot. 3 days in, i could call it first day vegetation started. Feels like lights are too much on her with 50% power. Will be monitoring that but, beautiful girl, had to help her by removing the seed coat. Since General Hydroponics Nutrients Flora series is not available where i am, i will be using the same NPK value nutrients, but locally made. Hopefully will not be much of a difference, will also try not using CalMag but we see how this goes. For the PH up and down, i will use lemon and vinegar. Will post the nutrients schedule soon and will start her diet beginning of 2nd week. Transplanting her to a 3gallon pot, i accidentally tore the root. I did not expect it to be that tall, penetrate through the jiffy and into the paper cup. Im skeptical it will live beyond this moment, the root being 15cm in length is now maybe 2cm. Also, seeing that root length means i was under feeding it. Guess will have to wait and see, either the journey continues or i will be wrapping it and start a new seed. Fingers crossed, i hope she lives!
