There really isn't much to do the first week. It gets more interesting in week 2 as plant training windows begin to open and you decide which to use. My first grow, I went with LST and defoliated out of necessity. This grow I started LST early again, but did less defoliation and threw in super cropping so week 5 has been busy even with one plant, though this is my favorite part of the grow.
Mid to late flower is a return to this: mostly minding and feeding with not much else to do. Though when you reach the end of your first grow it'll feel like no small thing. Its almost as much fun to grow as it is to smoke.
