No changes. Leaves are slowly yellowing and dying off. First time I took some natural light pictures. Trichomes look mostly milky with a few clear. I probably should go two more weeks or a bit more....

Who knew plants could be even more beautiful in natural light

Grow Questions

A decent amount of leaves are starting to curl. Is this light stress? When my light was 38" i had some stretching. Its now 31" above the canopy. I dont have any mylar surfaces

Leaves. Curl up
Bloombuster answered grow question 2 months ago
welcome bro! Yes, it's heat stress, the edges of the foliage bend up. While she's young, try to keep the temperature around 23-26 degrees celsius. Temperatures can be knocked down by additional moisture of the air at the site of cultivation. :ok_hand: :innocent: :+1: Good luck, bro!

White tips on leaves
I have not fertilized since 6-22-20. Should i take white tips as a sign to not add more nutrients? I If one of my plants is getting white tips on leaves but the other is not then does that just mean I should feed one more than the other?

Leaves. Tips - Burnt
Nor_Cal_Kannabliss answered grow question 1 month ago
Burnt tips on your plant usually indicates that you fed a little bit too many nutrients. if one plan is not experiencing symptoms of the other is then that plan must be handling the nutrients a little better. continue to feed the one with no signs of issues the same amount while reducing the amount on the one with issues. Hope this helps my friend. Happy growing! :i_love_you_hand_sign::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I waited 72 hours between this watering and the last. My top inch of soil felt bone dry. My pot was lifted effortlessly. Why are my leaves still curling down when i water? It only lasts a couple hours then they are nice and perky again. I was told fabric pots don't get rootbound.

Normal thing growmie, you've got to give the roots a chance to soak up the water.

Hi bro!
Your girl has just started flowering and she will have time to grow her flowers in the first 4 weeks of flowering! Do not hurry now, but continue to care and watch its development!See her foliage ends up? It's heat stress, bro! She's hot, I'd have to get her temperature down somehow! Maybe the photo was taken in a moment of intense heat on the street, and maybe the lamp is too low and heats the plant.
Good luck bro! :fist: :innocent:

Hey can you guys look over my diary and let me know if is worth letting this skunk plant flower out? I'm pretty sure I've had tobacco Mosaic virus since the beginning. I stopped smoking in my room around week 2.

hello, friend! You don't have enough phosphorus and elements in the plant. Make fertilizer adjustments (return to watering additive Grow):
- Grow Big 0.7ml/l
- Tiger Bloom 2.5ml/l
Good luck, brother! :fist: :innocent:

How do trichomes work?
Do the leaves produce trichomes before the flower? I know I still have 3 weeks if not more left but is it normal for the trichomes on leaves to mature first?
Is it normal for there to be an abundance of trichomes on the leaves but not really any on the pistils?

It's okay, friend! The pestiles mature starting at the tip and end with a change in color of the entire hairs from white to orange and, at the end, to brown! And you won't be harvesting soon, bro! Your plant has a declared 9 weeks of flowering! Not 9 weeks of growth! You raise her for about 8-7 weeks! :point_up_2: You only have one week of flowering passed! Don't hurry, since you'll ruin everything if you decide to take off the crop in 3-4 weeks... :point_up_2: For the next 7 weeks it will become truly beautiful, with big sticky colors! :+1:
Good luck, friend! :fist: :innocent:

I still have about 6-7 weeks of flowering left according to fast buds (9 weeks of flower) and was wondering if its okay that some of the pistils are already maturing? (turning orange)

Depending on the strain pistils will brown and wither early (mid grow) and on some ocassions they might start popping up again when calixes are very fat and bursting out.

Do not worry, and keep an eye on trichome color, by the way, very frosty looking, congratulations on an amazing plant!

Happy smokes!

Will underwatering ruin flowers? My plant was nice and perky this morning, but when i came home (10 hours later) i found her like this. Gave her a nice watering and shes bouncing back but my question is if this will ruin the flower? :fearful:

Hey friend,
I'm a very guilty chronic under waterer. None of the times that I let my plants get so wilted did it affect their ability to reach harvest. I'm sure there are situations where a plant would get so stressed out that it might have negative impact. But for the most part if you find your plant so dry and wilted but it always springs back after watering then you're going to be ok.
Happy flowering and harvesting.:v:
