12-12 From Free Seeds

June 21st. I haven't seen much out there on this strain so I thought I'd share. I started taking pictures pretty late into the grow because it wasn't looking like anything impressive. Now that I'm nearing the end of flower, everything is coming together - I started 5 regular Old Skool seeds in solo cups (FFOF) and they broke ground around April 5th. They were added to the tent where one plant was finishing flower so I decided to go 12/12 for the entire grow. Two were males and one never germinated. I used paper towel method. I now use a cup of water and haven't had a single problem. The girl on the left showed her first pre-flower on May 5th and the other on May 8th. I believe I topped them both on May 8th due to height concerns and transplanted on the same day. They handled the shock pretty well. I knew they would stretch too so I LST'd and kept the girls 15 inches from the center of the light and let the tops on the side reach about 12 inches from the light. The girl on the left turned out to be an amazing, chunky pheno. The girl on the right won't yield as much but pushed out an impressive amount of trichomes in the past few days and is starting to swell. They both smell like candy and diesel. Pretty happy with how this has turned out. About to start week 8 since the pre-flowers popped. They're supposed to be 12 week flower strains but I'm just watching trichomes develop at this point. I used big bud and bud candy from weeks 2-5 of flower and added one small dose of cal-mag to the final feeding. I don't really care for nutes much anymore but decided to use them sense they were lying around and this was mostly an experiment. That's about all I have for now. Peace y'all, updates to come.
