Just started germination in paper towel soaked with ph neutralized tap water at roughly 200ppm. Currently dechlorinating and preparing two 5 gallon reservoirs with one 3in bubble stone in each. Currently running roughly 8 watts per air stone. The Chocolope started germination on day 2 and cracked its shell on day 3 while it did lose one of its beginning leafs when the seed shell fell of. I drilled a hole through one of the hydroton to give her as much support as possible in the delicate first stage of vegetative growth.
Going on day 4 now and no signs of germination for the strawberry cough. I've been keeping the paper towel moist, humidity is high, and its kept warm by the fluorescent being close so I'm hoping it pops open soon. The Chocolope is growing fast showing about an inch of growth hopefully I'll be seeing roots beginning to drop from the bottom soon.
