Can i top a clone?

This is my first time working with clones. My question is once i transplant them to a bigger pot i would also like to top them is it possible to put them a little bit more in the soil. So i have a less tall plant.

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Welcome to cloning.. Hope ur enjoying the benefits of a duplicate female.. Give her 3-5days to get recovered from transplant then top her.. U can put top soil on straight away tho.. Just snip off any leaves/branches that are under new soil height.. Stay safe n gud luck with her.. 👍🍀🤞

Greetings from Russia! Yes, plant your clone a little deeper into the ground, do not be afraid to put the stem under the ground, after it stops receiving light under the ground, new roots will go out of it. I always do this when my seedlings or clones are too high

Whether you wanna top a clone depends on if it is still growing symmetrical nodes or not. Topping requires a node with 2 branches growing out if it. If there arent 2 branches the topping doesn't actually do anything because you dont get 2 tops as a result. Most clones are fully mature by the time they get big enough to top and thus dont have symmetrical growth. Whenever I grow clones I just do lst to promote the lower branches growth. I never topped clones! once have roots 12/12h Room ! But if u give enough vegetative light cicle To recover from topping, I think that’s fine!! Just try to help

When to start training for my plant in veg stage Looking to start lst on my plant at 3 weeks veg… question is from a first timer.
