The question is wasn't it too early to top her and if it was, how will it affect her? and is there any reason to wait for more nodes before topping except keeping veg period shorter (she recovers faster when shes bigger) ?

She looks good. The main reason to top when the plant is a bit bigger is as you already said, to make sure it can recover faster. Topping when the plant is smaller will just add some extra time to the recovery vs if you waited to top. There really aren't any other negative side effects of early topping as far as I am aware of. I usually wait until node 5 or 6 has formed and then ill top down to the 3rd node.

FloweringTryed super cropping about 6days ago has taken well to 90 angle got a few more sites to it still been growing an inch a day heading for the light so having to tie it down still using LST to keep centre open removed at least 15 leaves am I slowing down flowering with all the abuse

Personally, I keep doing this and think I have positive results by creating multiple branches with equal distance to each other. (I pluck one stem then leave the next and go on like this.)

3rd week of flowering, lower branches are snapping off easily.
