Unless you have some serious nutrient lockout issues, it's better to just give the calmag in water directly to growth medium. If you end up also wanting to spray, check the bottle for instructions as the amounts vary brand to brand. I would not do foliar feed if there's no absolute need as you risk more leaf burn and humidity issues, but if you have to spray it's best to do it right after the lights go on.
