Is it okay to put my newly planted seeds under the lights? (germination to soil)
Like putting the medium(pot) under the lights even if the the plant hasn't sprouted yet?

Yes brother that is exactly what you want to do , cover up that soil and seed with a clear dome or plastic wrap and she will pop .. it doesn't take long when they under a light .some strains are longer then others but usually 3-5 days you will see that first sprout appear cheers and good luck
