Erm you can be right buddy and the advice given to new growers is to use half the dose. though I useto work for a nutrient company and still affilated with them. most good nutrients will come with a feed table which they have already worked out the dose for the plants through testing themselves. they have spent alot of time testing thier nutrients so I would trust the feed table myself. though its your grow buddy you do whatever you want to do. it does not really make sense that companies would do this as people are not likely to buy the nutrients again if they are constantly running out of feed. Most nutrient companies will try use as least as possible while still keeping growth at optimum levels and of course keeping ec levels in check so not to cause an overfeed. though as i said its upto you buddy and best of luck for your upcoming grow :)
