The universe is endless and in looking at the full picture, life on earth feels inconsequential and that there may be no meaning to all of this. However, the universe is built upon the same building blocks that every human being shares. It is nitrogen, carbon and helium...so are we. I choose to believe that I am the universe and the universe is me. Though I may be a very small part of the large picture, I am apart of it all. Without you or me, the universe wouldn't be whole and that's not how it works. Everything that is taken is given, any energy created cannot be destroyed, only converted. We are the energy of the universe and we all play an integral part in it's operation, no matter how small we feel sometimes (or I do at least). The meaning of life, for me, is to be an active participant in the universe, find spirituality in it's vast expansion and do whatever I can do be a positive force within it. I am a karma believer and putting out a positive force tends to yield rewards in the shape of serenity and calm from the chaos. If we find a way to live peacefully and leave this earth a ball of positive energy , we get to go back to where we came from; amongst the stars, carrying that energy with us. We never stop existing and just carry on playing our integral role in the universe, keeping it whole and balanced. Without any one of us, it would not be complete. Every life matters and trudging this journey together, on this crazy ass ship we're on, our ends justify the means.
The meaning of life is to know you matter, you're a piece of the universe and that this world is only one stop on our journey, so let's make the most of it. Love your neighbors, your friends, family, etc... Be kind and love yourself. Living life is the meaning of life.
Why did you make my wheels spin! Damn you!
