, I'm kidding :) there are plenty of other 100% organic things you could use for fertilizers and they have different things in different ratios, so you could fine tune the feeding process to use other than this, I'll shoot you a dm. It's a big difference when you use fertilizers like that indoors and outdoors, especially for your first grow it could get complicated

, Gotcha :) Might get some chemical ferts in the future. For now I'm sticking to basic natural soil enrichments & seeing what I can do with the bare minimum. I see too many people burning their plants with various chemical ferts & I'm just not comfortable yet using those as a noob. Will definitely flush everything out before harvest (if I get that far). P.S. - No shitting in the grow room. :stuck_out_tongue:

, :) yeah, but decent fertilizer costs 10-20$, no need to shit in the corner and you know exactly what you're plants are getting. The urine and manure have their nutrients in them, but that's a long way from having them in them and making the plant use them. Not to mention that you plant doesn't need all the nutrients all the time in the same aspect. But that's a way to save 10$ I guess, glad you're not sharing your stash with me :)

This has been a tough grow so far, y'all. My last Solo cup grow was triple this size by Week 3. I think she got stunted early on but it's taking SO long to gain any upward growth! It seems to dislike being close to the CFL bulbs despite not being hot & having the fan blowing on them. The stem also looks thin & weak compared to my last plant at this stage. The plan for Week 3 is to use a little "homemade" urine fertilizer (diluted at a 12:1 ratio) & see if that spurs any growth. Also gonna make sure not to let any more dehydration mishaps occur like last week. New growers are always chastised for OVERwatering so I guess I have a phobia of that. Once flowering starts in earnest I'll pull back to an 18/6 light schedule but for now we have to make up for lost time. I don't have a timer so I have to sit up late & turn the lights on before going to sleep.

For just 2 weeks into flower you have a lot of potential budsites showing and ready to party :) Things are going to get crazy in here and fast :) Let's see what you can do as full flower phase approaches ;) Looking good from here my friend and thank you for the diary update ;) Kind regards Team-HSO..

That’s the first I’ve heard that. Dark green has typically been associated with too much N. Each strain, each plant, each pheno will have its particular nutrient/light needs. Don’t obsess or second guess yourself too much, and don’t over adjust! Looking great!

,dark green leaves , it’s a symptom of Magnesium deficiency.

, you are very correct. I left 20 days on vacation and had the plants in the window sill, thus they had barely any sunlight. If you look at the first picture of my week 9 you will notice 2 identical plants but they are growing differently. This is happening thought my whole garden. The pic doesn't make it justice but half my plants have the top leaves dark dark green with stunned grow and the leaves feel dryer to the touch than the bottom leaves. I can generalize that the plants closer to the light are affected. Can the light cause the leaves to turn dark green? I am not using any nutrients, everything is grown in a Ocean Forest soil. I moved the plants from sunlight to 150w MH at 2 feet and then now at 3 feet. you rock, cheers

When I "read" your plants, they are telling me that your light might have been too far away. You can see this in those long internodes. When light is too close they tend to miniaturize and stay short, when the light is too far away they stretch like magic beans. You must find the right distance by looking the structure of your plant since the beginning.

These are the best seeds I have, fast germination. The seeds were regulars as I am trying to acquire the best mother that I can, I have a clear winner, the female plant if forgiving with over and underwatering. Thanks Humbolt

Hello my friend. Did you purchased these as feminized seeds or regular seeds? If feminized then this is a problem that we will rectify :) Drop me a pm my friend! Kind regards Team-HSO..

After the transplant they look great. Very healthy and now they will be hitting a much more vigorous growth pattern. Let's see what the sex of the plant turn out to be and get the mother selection started :) Looking good so far my friend and this is a grow I'll be watching with interest :) Kind regards Team-HSO..
