Dutch Passion - Auto Duck Night 87 since seed touched soil. #1 goes down, we had heavy rains and of course bud rot came to garden. She was biggest, most mature, was in best place from all 3 too. Day 94. Last two goes down. Bud rot hitted all 3, so my hopes, that this strain is resilient to diseases was busted ... Strange strain. Personally i see why some people would want to grow small discreate plant, but its still reminds weed, so i would go with more productive, but still compact strains. I know they all grew in very dark place, without any love and care, in coldest, no sun summer in UK recently ... I wanted to test two waves of auto harvest in one summer theory, i did it, but spot needed good clearing, everything overgrew it, so no light at all for girls, pitty results mostly because of that too... Taste : earthy, minty.

She was left to her own devices for the most part, weather hasn't helped given the rain was out jn force.

The second plant is harvested and curing right now. 35 grams of good buds and 5 grams of infected bugs that will go into oil. The high is clear headed but relaxing, really nice hybrid. Tastes is fresh and piney with a hint of mint. Really beautiful representation of what Dutch outdoor weed is in my book. Takes me back! Growing the ducks was an absolute pleasure all the way, until the big infestation. But that's of no fault of the plant. Would really recommend this to beginning outdoor growers that want a little plant on the balcony or something.

Estamos aquí dando la reseña de la prueba de humo de esta linda chica 😍 Un aroma muy AUTO 🤭 hay que moler o presionar para que huelan los cogollos, pero un vez hecho, se pone muy interesante la cosa: un aroma old school sativa, con notas de pino, arce y tal vez toques de palo santo con un fondo sour. La calidad de los tricomas es increíble para el estrés al que fue sometida la planta, su forma espigada no causó absolutamente ningún problema con hongos por lo que su sabor es muy limpio. Cenizas blancas y un efecto eufórico, de alegría y risas hasta caer en una profunda relajación luego de unos 20 minutos... la verdad es el tipo de hierba que me gusta fumar, verla crecer también fue algo hermoso aunque de tres semillas solo ha germinado una de ellas. La primera que sembramos 🌱 Desde el sofá de la abuela, un gran saludo y mucha luz para todos 💚

Unfortunately I didn't get to smoke. Humidity was sooo high for so long. All the buds developed bud rot. I tried my best to save it... Sometimes mother nature does not do what you want it to do. I'm sad ,😭

Buds are more dense then the previous auto duck , it obviously ended up with normal shaped leave instead of duck foot shape , smells the same as the previous duck but 10% more sweet smelling , she ended up very compact didn’t even reach 50cm. Extremely leafy this was ,had to take a lot of leafs of during the grow. Didn’t need much nutrients, and definitely a 20 litre pot was far to big next summer I think 10 litre pots will be fine.

Fairly good saying this was a bit of a runt , started slow didn’t look good , had low expectations from her but last 3 weeks she really finished nicely. She doesn’t need a 20 ltr pot but better to go to big then too small in my opinion. She never really gave much of a smell even at the peek of flowering. Must say she loved the Bio Bizz Top Max definitely recommend that. Tastes sweet slightly citrus yet earthy on the exceal this is a perfect strain for beginners, gorilla grows , balcony or garden grows … well done Dutch Passion ! 👍 8/10 medium strength definitely more sativa perfect day time smoke

Poor resistance to mold didn't let me harvest her for week later. The same result was in last year(. Strain is not for my climate in outdoor. I like smell of it, nuts and coffee.

This will come later after dry n cure along with the dry weight, I don't weigh my wet plants The duck came out pretty good I will be giving it another try come spring because I really think that the weather and bugs beat up the plant and it isn't fare to blame it for problems any strain would have suffered with. I lost quite a bit of bud to bud rot. Duck did smoke good though it wasn't fire but it had flames and a good flavor. Growing it was easy, the structure was very good especially because I didn't train it at all

I don't make for them good conditions for normal grow. That is why one of them went to waste basket (. Two others made good results, as for me. My fault was to grow cucumbers before them, and they made shadow. Stuff has very good smell, Now wait for results of drying.

I never properly finished this journal as I got very busy with the pandemic, but I figured I should update it's harvest now that I have started another grow. The buds ended up moderately potent, with an earthy spicy taste. Its effects are uplifting, functional, and overall very pleasant. The buds are decently dense, but not comparable to well grown indoor/hydro, but still very good for a balcony. I consumed most of the harvest over the past 8 months, but still have a single jar left that I break into from time to time.

The strain is great for its stealth characteristics! Very odorless and hard to recognize as cannabis: I grew it outdoor with neighbors possibly watching her every day, and some of them even appreciated my nice “ornamental plant” lol! Moreover, it is very strong to any kind of disease: it resisted to big and small bugs (those horrible planthoppers!!) and to very rainy and cold weather (temperatures even dropped to 4/5ºC some nights!) Taste update: nice mellow indica effect, not too strong though. Recommended!

I processed the plants into edibles, but I smoked a couple buds. They were dried quite quickly so I cannot give an accurate impression of taste. The high is cerebral and smooth. Recommended for daytime activity - Makes any work a doddle! They smelled hashy with a slight fruity tinge Trichs were 90% cloudy 4% clear and 1% amber. Processed into coconut oil.

The smoke is on the fruity, sweet end of flavours, nice balanced high and not too potent making it good daytime or social smoke.

That’s the official statement of Dutch Passion seeds according to the strain “Auto Duck”: She is considered a hybrid and has characteristics of both. Although the lineage of our Frisian Duck (50/50) and our Auto White Widow (indica) would suggest that she would be a more indica leaning hybrid she ended up in the 50/50 spectrum, with some phenotype fluctuations of course but she can surely not be considered a pure sativa or a indica. Even with phenotype differences she will not be any further than 60/40 in each direction. Drying day #1 today(at day 86) I cut the two ducks down. Directly from the scissor, I scraped some resin, smoked it in a regular rolled cigarette. It tasted awesome. I hope the flowers get dry good and I can post results soon. After 8 days of drying, the buds looks ready. I will cut them off and present you the outcome in the next days. That’s it. My first grow is over and it was successful. Had to pull them on day 92 as the grey mold had set in and the next few days were high humidity. The trichomes were all milky white to the naked eye. Didn't see many clear or Amber. I think they had just one more good week to go but that's the problem outside but if i left them any longer I would of lost it all. Had to chop and bin about ⅕of buds due to mold. Low smell throughout the grow. Blended in nicely with the surroundings.

So as I already mentionned, she got hit by two consecutive heat waves in the middle of veg and right at the time of her stretch. So she became a midget, but remained healthy all along. After 6 months of curing (with so little yield I at least wanted to give it a good cure, as it got dwarved by two consecutive heat waves), results are showing. An incredibly mesmerizing caramel apple scent with a strong touch of strawberry, this duck reminds me of an indonesian dish. It doesn't taste like a winged duck itself though. Not really disappointed about that. Real smooth smoke, clearly present high. Think I had a discussion with dead rockstars.

Good strain for outdoor I recommend to wacth out for nute she a bit of a light feeder 😤
