Female Seeds

I love this strain. It's tough as nails. Can take so much drought abuse. It's chunky buds are thick. It's a sturdy plant for sure. The only knock i can say about it, is it's not that potent. It's Lemon Joy x Master Kush. Developed by Female Seeds. I've had this strain for a few years and it's served me very well. I've grown quite fond of it so to say goodbye to it isn't easy. I'm still not completely sure i want to let it go just because it's no longer available as Female Seeds is no longer in business. So i don't know.....yet.

Lemon Kush is an easy to grow strain. It is not a bushy variety and has a very sativa dominant growth pattern but with Indica dense buds. It does not get very bushy so there is no need to defoliate. Light will get right down to the very bottom of the plant so there is no need to strip away any lower growth. Everything fills out. Out of 9 plants i may have tossed away 5 whispy buds off the bottom, but the rest was all dense and frosty. Lemon Kush does not lend itself to topping very well, so if you have this strain (if it still exists, Breeder is no longer in business) you may not get the desired growth pattern you were looking for. You will not end up with 2 tops. The side branches are all you will get. This strain doesn't grow any leaves out of the nodes on the main stalk. Breeder claims 19% to 26% THC range. This run I stressed the plants severely the final week in an effort to create more resin. The lights were left on 24 hrs a day for 3 days and then only darkness. I did notice a few bananas in the buds. Not many though and nothing viable that would produce pollen. I'm not sure if the stress i put the plants under the final week caused that, but i never saw anything through the course of the grow, and there was no signs of seeds during the trim. Why this platform asks for the wet bud weight is beyond me. Who cares about weighing water? To me, the dry weight is the number people want, so i'm not going to bother pulling all the buds off the drying rack just to weigh water weight and then put them all back on the rack. Just stupid if you ask me. Pictures will come when the drying process has completed. As well as dry weights for each plant in grams. Plants were harvested and wet trimmed by hand using scissors. Carefully trimming and cutting away as much leaf material and stem as possible. Then placed on a drying rack in the bathroom. My place is warm always because of the temperature in the hallway outside, so heat just wofts in from under the doorway. It can be -40c and i don't need to turn my thermostat on. The positive air pressure in the hallways makes it so i can run without carbon filters and there is no odor in the hallways at all. So in the bathroom the temperature averaged 24c. No extraction fan except for when i went in to pee. Otherwise lights off and no exhausting. Humidifier was set to higher than normal to slow the drying process. Humidity was set to 70% and the flowers were left on the rack for a full 7 days. After the 7 days had past the buds were inspected and deemed dry enough (but still a little moisture in the middle) they were bagged up into a 1lb Grove bag for curing and continued evaporation down to 62% Humidity monitor placed inside the bag. Grove bags are great. They will hold the perfect humidity without the addition of a Boveda Pack, and will also allow for the gas off of chlorophyll without having to burp 100 jars every week or day or whatever. Solid 7 or 8 Stars (growdiary locked in the wrong rating). Nighttime Indica that knocks you on your butt! Smells & tastes like sweet berries and as a result - doesn't really need a cure 😎👌

This pheno didn't have a Lemon smell or taste , just a kush type taste and smell. The high is relaxing but not sleepy , would be a good as day time bud. It's got an airy structure but a nice coating of trichomes.

I really liked growing Chem OG. She grew fast and strong... and didn't even stress out with all the training going on. Chem OG has this wonderful dank sour smell with a hint of citrus... I'm thinking lemon. She turned a beautiful color of purple which was a very nice surprise.😁 Looks like Female Seeds has me onboard!😎 👍👍

Hallo zusammen 🤙. Nach 3 Wochen trocknen riecht das Gras richtig geil nach Orange und Zitrone. Der Geschmack ist schön süß mit einem leichten Orange Geschmack und etwas saurem im Abgang. Sehr sehr lecker. Das High ist sehr stark die ersten 30minuten man möchte direkt etwas machen weil man voller Energie ist. Perfekte Sorte für den Tag um Sachen zu erledigen.

An excellent strain, performed well under stress. I also note a short flowering time, as for a sativa dominant. Highly recommend to everyone, including beginners.

Clairement pas une variété difficile à cultivée très résistante malgré les fortes chaleur de cette été, Un peu déçu quand même 3 phénotype différents pour une seule variété... Les Pieds les plus courts sur pattes finissent en 9 semaines et on un super gout ! les deux autres phénotype finiront en 10 semaines encore une fois un pieds d'un phénotype impressionnant qui fait des Buds aérés mais énormes avec malheureusement un goût pas très marqué.. Et une dernière avec des Buds compactes mais avec un look Sativa et une Odeur et Un goût vraiment citronné, Hazy !

Phenomenaler Strain. Angenehmes High. Schmeckt nice süss skunkig. Ideal zu Kaffee- und Kakao- un Teegetränken.

First time I had the chance to grow in a greenhouse. What an amaizng strain. Complex fruity smell with an attitude. Sexbud really loved the heat and profited from the warm climate. She suffered from mould in flower and had a hard time in her early days during spring. Not really suited for outdoors but still one of my favourte smokes. So i am glad i tried again in the greenhouse this year.

this strain almost always grows as expected and has a mixuture of multi bud site kolas and single larger ones. they can be a bit prone to nute burn.

No smoke yet, she was hung to dry in stages. Main buds were harvested on 25 september. The bottom was left to enjoy the sun for another week. 2nd cut came donw on 2 october. Strong and resilient plant. Does stretch a lot during first weeks of flower bud produces very resinous buds all over the branches. Responds well to topping, suoercropping and other techniques. Super strain for outdoors, if light hours are sufficient. She produces wonderfully fruity buds that are sticky as glue. Cant wait to taste this one. My 3rd year growing this strain and first time this one made it to finish. She was a bit further than Lemon Kush but still little amber thricomes. Seeing others reports this year i conclude one thing. Our babies neet the sun to finish. We had too much in the early stage and too little in flower. Resulting in weak , supersized (pampered) plants, that grew amazingly and got fucked in fall. Low temps, terrential rain for 2 weeks straight. I am very pleased with this years grow and happy with the harvest. Smoke report and details about weight are on the way!

Did not get a chance to smoke yet. Buds are nice and dense. Sadly there is very little trichomes and I hope curing will bring back the lemon smell. Should have gone 10 days extra but time and weather did not allow me to do so. I will add total weight in smoke report. Right now everything is hung up to dry.
