Really nice flavour , didn't even need to much curing. Lower yield due to some experimenting with the setup. Still have 2 seeds so this year definitely gonna grow her again.
Loved growing this strain, I've been sitting on these seeds for a couple years and glad I gave it a run.
Would recommend growing this strain for beginners as it's very resilient and easy to grow
Smell: one of my very favorites - a tasty classic weed flavor with strong mango/lemon.
Effects: it is amazing to use for fitness activities, works also fine when you just need to relax. Very well balanced weed.
Grow: I think she maybe a bit sensitive for too much nutrients and light.
Because my last grow in hydroton was going tits up I got out my old equipment and picked 4 strains to grow in soil. This westcoast O.G was one of the selected, I have grown this strain before but it wouldn't flower no matter what I tried. This one grew very similar to the last one where as she stretched a fair amount but the LST kept it from getting to tall. I had a few minor issues late on but she still grew real nice. She was the tallest in the grow. I managed to get her in the main tent under the Viparspectra xs2000 just as she was flowering. She went from seed to harvest in 90 days. Trichomes cloudy and a few amber.
Very grateful strain, perfect for beginners. I didn't get very big buds but they look compact and feel hard...fabulous! although the best thing for now is the smell... what a delicious OG smell but improved... I don't know how to describe it but it transports me to the 80's. I can't wait to taste it.
Harvested day 110. A fantastic grow, she set a lot of records including longest plant to harvest and biggest yield. Gave tons of nice big frosty nuggets. Definitely a top 3 grow.
This was a bit of a nightmare to grow. Seed to harvest 152 and still could have gone for longer. Going be doing this strain again soon as possible, the score is mainly down to my bad practices and the plant not liking it.
These are some of the best buds i ever smelled, super citrus-earthy kush
The plant went pretty big as u can see but still finished in a decent time of 84days total.
She took 1/4 of the 4x4 tent under a spiderfarmer sf4000.
Really enjoyed growing this plant, lovely smells of wood, pine, citrus.Plant was easy to grow, didn't have any major nutritional issues.Resistant to high humidity,Buds are large and dense with dark green leaves.Lovely plant!!
Harvested at Day 85
Dried for 5 Days at 20-22C 55%-60% rh because the leaves were so dry the buds dried fast.
At the photos the buds are cured at day 13.
Updates coming :
Don't have so much time right now
Update Day 45 Curing : Buds turned out like hard nuggets really nice, and the smell and taste goes really on the classic OG weed. I harvested her on day 85 and at that point she had maybe 30-40 % amber thrichomes which that is to normally to much for me, but it's OK she got a strong sativa side. Enjoyble strain can't go wrong with this, but I need that fruity kush mix and thats I am missing here.
Highly recommend to anyone looking to grow an O.G Auto!!
Growing this plant was an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
She managed the fix her self form my many nooby mistakes and still managed to give me an excellent harvest of some truly knock out bud!
Her appearance was some lovely darker shades of green typical for Indica dominant, she is cakes in beautiful glistening frosty trichomes that smell amazing!
I did some small scale dry sifting and got some incredible quality kief from her. Tastes very much like old skool but high quality hash.
Her smell is very earthy with pine and lemon with subtlety sweet undertones and that very famous pungent armpit smell.
She hits like a truck with the perfect amount of Indica and small dashings up a sativa kick. Very pleasant stone with great medicinal properties. ( Joint pain, inflammation, anxiety & sleeping issues)
Dry harvest weight ended up to be 1.5 G Per Watt which I thought was great!
Will definitely be growing again!
