12/23/2023 : I shaked them for 10s in a sandpaper made cylinder, let them soak in B.A.C. X-seed for an hour and placed them in Jiffy peat pellets watered with a bit of T.A. TrikoLogic. Now in warm and wet conditions for a few days. 12/27/2023 : tap root is out of the Jiffy for afghani #1 and sensi skunk, it's time to go! I'll try square smartpots (about 4 gal) with Covercrop LightMix. I watered all this with pH=6.2 rain water - calmag and Elycitor added. Shiva skunk is almost there and Hindu Kush seems to have a problem. 12/28/2023 : Hindu Kush is alive and shiva skunk is dying...

Grow Questions

Hi, last watering I've seen tiny translucent insects (about 1 mm) emerging from the soil. They are fast and can jump like a flea. I assume they live in soil. What are these little monsters, should I worry about them and what should I do ? TIA

I can not make anything out from the image, it almost looks like a baby translucent/ghost root. could be a number of things from springtails to gnat larva or something else, Need better pics of the create in question. Gnats are annoying but not normally detrimental to plants unless they overrun the site and get stuck in sticky buds. springtails are good to the soil and feed it by eating dead matter they also don't come up into the leaves or buds. Try to get better pics and go from there to identify what they are. Good Luck!
