Dr. Bruce Bugbee did a great talk about flushing a while back. They have found that you’re actually doing a negative effect in what you are trying to achieve by flushing. The final weeks are very important to the ripening of the Trichomes and if you starve the plant the nutrients to development those then you loose some potency and quality. The breakdown of chlorophyl happens extremely fast so the thought of keeping the plant starved the last two weeks will help but it has been proven wrong. A good cure after dry is the best and all that breakdown will happen the same regardless of a flush or not. I reserve a good flush to correct any issues I would be having in my medium. It’s a good way to “flush” out anything causing issues and resetting. Now if you want to feed the last week or two with just pH balanced water that is different than flushing. I always feed straight pH balanced water the last week since my plants are pretty much done requiring much nutrients at that point and any they need will be taken from what little is left in the soil and or plant material. I hope this helps.

Not really a huge fan of flushing. tossing tons of water into a pot to flood it and leach any remaining nutrients out of the medium. Lowering feed or not giving feed end of life is ok. allows the plant to use up what is avilable and to not overfeed it in the first place that a flush would be needed. Everyone should be doing this as plants do not need as much feed end of life or beginning of life so you should be adjusting as the plant dictates its needs. Plants do not piss or leach out the minerals they consume, they will just use them up. You can google a lot of about "flushing myth" or "reasons to flush" But the take away for me is this : on a double blind study of weed connoisseurs they could not tell the difference in flushed or un-flushed weed, taste, looks smells ext. Chemical analysis was ran and showed negligent results on any point for differences "high vs low" for any compounds inside the buds. aka the ones that flushing is suppose to "flush" out of the plant. Flushing is a great tool to correct a catastrophic issue in the medium to prevent a meltdown and wasted crop. But its not a magic tool end of cycle. I don't know of any other plant people flush end f harvest but that might just be my limited life experience. If you still want to do it despite it doing nothing as it makes you feel better then go ahead and base that on how ripe the plant is vs how long its been alive. Organno man has some good tips on it, Then ask yourself if its really needed in the long run, do a test of 2-6 plants ones that gets flushed ones not that do not, do this with clones.. not seeds. and cure them well. Cure has a massive impact on how weed taste. A lot of times people forget about that. Good Luck!

Quite possibly too close to the light. If it is feeling crispy and showing some signs of burnt edges then that would be sure sign of being too close. Also, it does appear like you might be getting a slight Fox Tail on the top which is another sign of being too close. This happened to me a few weeks before harvest and my pure laziness just forgot to raise the lights after I set them after the stretch and it still grew a few inches. Top was getting well over 1000 PPFD. Raise the light or turn it down a notch. Hope this helps.
