Purple Queen Automatic is a hybrid cross of Purple Queen and Critical Auto. It produces luscious purple flowers and boasts a short lifespan of just 9 weeks. Its aroma is characterised by strong notes of Skunk mixed with hints of berries and citrus fruits, while its effects are very relaxing, both physically and mentally.   Thanks to its ruderalis genetics, Purple Queen Automatic makes it super easy to grow eye-catching purple weed at home. And, despite being an autoflower, Purple Queen Automatic’s yields are still very impressive, especially indoors.   PURPLE QUEEN AUTOMATIC’S GENETIC LINEAGE   Purple Queen Automatic is a prized purple strain with some great genetics. It is heavily indica-dominant (roughly 80%), grows quickly, and produces some very good yields, both indoors and out.   Purple Queen Automatic’s first parent strain is Critical Auto. This hardy autoflowering indica was bred specifically to disprove the idea that autoflowers only produce small yields of subpar bud. Critical Auto can produce harvests of roughly 350–400g/m² indoors and around 80g/plant outdoors. While its THC level isn’t phenomenally high, what this strain lacks in potency it makes up for in ease of growth and yield.   Purple Queen Automatic’s second parent is the original Purple Queen. This is a very robust plant that flowers in 8 weeks and produces very good yields of roughly 500g/m² indoors and 700g/plant under the sun. With roughly 22% THC, this strain is certainly potent! And it produces some beautiful purple buds with a delicious aroma.   Purple Queen Automatic was bred to preserve the potency, purple hues, and high yields of Purple Queen while cutting down significantly on growing time. The result is a profit-yielding, fast-growing strain that produces eye-catching buds with great aromas and a relaxing high.   GROWING PURPLE QUEEN AUTOMATIC   Like most autoflowers, Purple Queen Automatic is exceptionally easy to grow. It performs well indoors and outdoors and doesn’t need to be trimmed or trained. It takes just 9 weeks to go from seed to harvest and typically reaches heights of 100cm indoors and 140cm outdoors. This makes it a great strain for growers working with limited space or trying to avoid attracting unnecessary attention.   During the flowering phase is when these plants really start showing off their beauty. The purple gene tends to be expressed in around 50% of phenotypes, producing big, dense, and resinous buds with deep purple hues and bright orange pistils.    Those plants that don’t turn purple will instead produce beautiful, dark green foliage and buds. To increase the chances of your plants turning purple, it's important to expose them to slightly colder nighttime temperatures early on during the flowering stage. In fact, you may want to lower your nighttime temperatures in the last week of veg to encourage darker pigmentation.   Come harvest time, your Purple Queen Automatic plants will be loaded with dense buds coated in a nice layer of trichomes. Your harvests will vary depending on the phenotype and your experience as a grower, but yields tend to be around 400g/m² indoors and up to 150g/plant outdoors. If you're looking to grow your own purps at home, this strain is a great starting point.   EFFECT, FLAVOUR, AND AROMA OF PURPLE QUEEN AUTOMATIC   Purple Queen Automatic may not be an overly potent strain, but it produces a very pleasant stone that you’ll want to return to time and time again.   After a few tokes, you should feel a soothing sensation take over your body, leaving you feeling warm and relaxed. Next, this feeling of serenity makes its way to the mind, easing erratic thoughts and helping you find more clarity and focus.   During the daytime, Purple Queen Automatic is a good way to clear the mind. At social events, you may find it helps you loosen up and chat, and at home it’ll help you unwind after a long day.   Purple Queen Automatic also boasts a very strong Skunk aroma mixed with underlying hints of fruit (think berries and citrus). You might also detect some piney, herbal tones. When smoked or vaporized, Purple Queen Automatic produces complex flavour notes of sweetness, bitterness, and subtle hints of spice.
