Since this pot I have only has an autoflower growing under 12/12 I thought the autoflower would grow too small to make use of the space properly so decided to try growing a photo period stated under a 12/12 light. I popped the seeds in a shot of water and when it sunk to the bottom I potted in the soil. 4 days later the seedling popped out but was still in the helmet but was free on the 5th.
This is my first grow in this living soil mix which I made:
120L old used biobizz light mix that I had
40L coco coir
40L worm castings
40L plumice
To which I added:
200mg/litre Ecothrive life-cycle as that seemed to contain most of the amendments I would have needed to mix myself.
50mg/litre fish, bone and blood meal
100mg/litre epsom salts
Mixed the lot up, potted and let it rest for a week, I then sprinkled with some cover crop seeds and mulch.
This was many weeks ago before planting, I had also added worms to the soil at some point.
Not much to say, she is growing well. I installed the drip system this week but ran out of root drippers for this pot so you can see 1 of the red drippers in the picture, will get replaced with root dripper at some point.
Considering she is growing under 12/12, she is growing ok.
Finally started flowering, saw the first pistils this week. I really shouldn't have planted this girls in this pot/grow as I can barely see her among the other girls and she is way behind...
Catching up on a few weeks... this girl is definitly not what I expected.. Since she was growing under 12/12 from seed I expected a single stem and small plant.. but she is growing well
Really nice structure to this girl, shame I planted her so late, she would have been a nice big plant.
Remove some of the leaves and watered with malt barley
This girl stretched so much, she is a really beautiful plant hate that I'll probably have to harvest her early so today I cut a branch that I cloned, in case she turns out great and I want to grow her again. Hopefully the branch will re-veg and root properly.
