03/04:
- One of the seedlings died a little after its cotyledons opened. The other one is growing rather quickly: week and half after germination I can already count 4 leaves, at 5 centimers of height.
- As for lighting I've seen people going for a 20-4 schedule and I've decided to settle for a 18-6 one,
- Since one of the plants died, I'm germinating another seed but it's taking longer than expected. The paper towel method failed and I'm trying with the glass of water now.
- Nutrients wise, I'm going to wait until the plant reaches 10 centimeters high to start with BioBizz's nutrition schedule.
- I've been watering the soil liberally every 2 days. I also try to keep the environment humid using a sprinkler.
08/04:
- The plant has 6 leaves now. I'll start with the nutrients when the following week starts.
- I germinated an extra seed in the other pot.
I start LST from the start. I put a fan blowing on them soon as my seed pops. That is the first step of my LST. Then as they grow i will massage the stem between my fingers with a slight twisting motion. Looking at you photos that's where you are at. In the next week the bottom growth should take off and you can bend and tie down at that stage. This is all matter of opinion. Gl with your grow.
I'm tying the top of the plant to one of the corners of the pot. I'm thinking of waiting until it outgrows the tie and becomes vertical again. Then I'd like to use that point as foothold and start tying the plant to the next corner (counter clock wise).
Does it make sense?
