After having tried a few outdoor from clones and doing better than i ever thought, wanted to try some from seed for next year '21 season sooooo down the rabbit hole we go. Spent way too much time on net researching :Lights, tents, soil, fans, filters, ______, _____, ________, . . . _ thought i should dip my toe first, traded my cow for a few beans and popped my tent, started a few autos... one of my budds found out i was set up and dropped a few orphans on my doorstep ME13, ME14 and ME15,the runts from his mothers litter for his SOG I just couldn't turn the little girls out into the cold so i put them up with the autos built a new light and hoped for the best hence the "Shotgun Wedding" start Never intended this to be for anything other than starting my outdoor and to grow some actual herbs for cooking over the winter. Raise your hand if you started like that. I was warned this would balloon I apologies in advance here as this diary is being put together post veg from the photos etc. i took but having only discovered this site in the last month (as i fliped these girls into flower). I wasn't diligent in tracking and taking regular photos. But like the rest of this experience I will just keep rolling (and smoking) Cheers

Made the girls comfortable then designed and cobbled together a light that i hope will get them through collage (under 1k cdn) 10 Samsung L2 Horticulture strips mounted on custom aluminum frame fired by 2 320w Meanwells Based on Lux x 0.0185 = PPFD I get ~1000 PPFD pretty even across the tent at 16" (free app on phone Lux meter) but that is what i designed for (not planning on running CO2) Seemed to brighten them up

light on. light off............. rinse and repeat sorry i skipped ahead a little bit i will try to go back and fill in a few of the gaps and add some picts. ect trusting in my "living" Stepwell SS their top dress and EM1 (microbact foliage/soil) for most of veg till the lady's started losing colour so i added MARPHYL Marine Phytoplankton and they bounced back quicker than a Amazon Prime delivery The Autos i started down this path with finally finished ( under 18/6 lighting w over 200g from 3 plants ) and gave the EVOs room to stretch out dropped a net on them and flipped the lights last week as they were showing they had moved into flower

Flower my babies flower they seem to be taking off nicely ? ScrOG not very even due to 2 plants on Right and 1 on left which has allot more room on the net to tuck and spread the right side is congested so i just let it go, don't think i should top at this stage ? more training required (for me), next run i will start with 4 Glookies i herd a rumor that some will be up for adoption within the month, timing should work out I think as these should be another 6-7 weeks Cheers 😎

Think i have some deficiency maybe Mag ? yellowing of predominantly new growth areas (see 5th photo) tried a foliar spray and water in with Epsom salt 0.1 g/l ~ 200ml for each plant we will see if that helps also added some Pacific Natural Fish Hydrolysate (2-3-0) 1 l @ 1:100 Any advice greatly appreciated Cheers All

Things seem to be coming along but nute def seems to be worse, prob because i added some Epsom Salts thinking to treat for MAGNESIUM when i think i should have been treating for MANGANESE f ... auto correct but i should have paid closer attention now i have some MANGANESE Sulfide (35%) did a folier spray @ 2ml : 1l (.35x2/1000 ~0.7ppm) and about 200ml of that mix onto soil of each plant now wait and see ??? any advise on dosing other than that they are thirsty upping water to ~4 liters / day and top dress to 40 mg / wk / plant

Hey Now Girls seem to be filling out and the smell is picking up, the orange is definitely predominate and enticing, the name is spot on Whoever at Barneys picked that name should get a Gold Sun Sticker beside theirs Cannot wait to try them (yes i have tried this strain, I mean my own grow) i dont have a soil moisture meter and wonder if they are getting enough H2O as 6 + liters a day seams like allot but with 15gal fabric pots maybe more evaporation than uptake ? any thoughts ??? With 4 to 5 weeks to finish I have just adopted some Glookies cuttings for the next round a lot more training (for me and them) and trimming as this grow is maybe a little dense ??? We shall see Cheers PS thanks to a comment today i got the support/motivation I was looking for guess that's why I'm here 😎. The sheers came out and i removed ~20% of the plant mass all from below the canopy, any branching that didn't reach the canopy got cut should have done this 2-3 weeks ago ? or before the net went in, what a pain in the ass it was to do now. I was way to conservative with my trimming/training earlier, just hope that at this point in the game I haven't shocked or set them back too much. The only ones who don't make mistakes are the ones who don't try

Hey Now All seams to be progressing Thinning / removals of below the canopy didn't seem to stall the girls at all and i think the air circulation was needed. Smell is becoming more pronounced although not as strong as i was expecting but very inciting. Buds are getting bigger and fatter and very sticky Added soil drench of K Mag 2 Tbls / plant with Zumsil Silica Monosilicic Acid 1: 1200 and a Foliar of Stella Maris Liquid Kelp 5: 1000 with Yucca Powder Thermos as a wetting agent 10mg /l T - 3 weeks cant wait

Hey Now All seems to be progressing well. Girls are all putting on a little weight and buds are firming up, order is getting a little stronger and buds are supper sticky. Same feed and folier as last week if it aint broke very thirsty 6 liters / day, fan is running allot to maintain humidity at 60%. Think I should start taking some of the fan leaves out next week ? Its so crowded and awkward to do in the tent now with the net. Will defiantly raise my next grow up 6 in off the floor to make access under canopy easier. That's all for now Cheers

Hey Now Nugs are plumping up and sticky sweet, smell not as intense as I was expecting but very nice Trykes not getting cloudy yet so at least another two weeks out ? I prob started counting flower weeks early (wishful thinking) Once I see them getting cloudy should I stop feeding ? As it is all organic do I need to flush ? or not ? or doesn't matter ? Yield ??? any guesses on the over / under

Hey Now Amazing how well the carbon filter works because when you unzip the tent........Well welcome to Mimosa Time Nugs are really starting to put some weight on and just loaded with frosty looking trikes starting to cloud I think two more weeks ??? any one have a guess for me Removing any dead fan leaves i can and some other lower fans as well to promote air flow, trying to keep humidity below 60 and trying to get it down to 50 but tent exhaust running allot on high decreased watering and circulation fan in tent running 24 hr, will stop feeding now as well and hope for the best Cheers All

Hey Now coming down to the finish line..... are we there yet...are we there yet.... the smell is f'n awesome when I crack the tent. Wish I could jar it and smoke it 😎 stopped feeding and should I be cutting back on the water now that they are so close, barely keeping humidity below 60 with exhaust fan running on high most of the day I am thinking one more week as I barely see any amber in the tryks or do I not know what I'm looking at/for ?? any advise welcome ( just give me an excuse I CAN"T WAIT ) , patients patients ... good things come to those who... I DON"T WANT TO WAIT........... but I will

WOW All of my expectations have been shattered by this grow. Mimosa Evo is the BOMB !!! For my first real grow the yield, quality (THC mid 20s is my guess ) and taste all so exceed what i had hoped for. I expected the finished product to be good from Barneys but set my expectations conservatively at below half of the suggested yield. Even while drying from the wet weight I didn't expect to be over a kg trimmed and dry. What a great surprise😎 but i also wasn't ready for all that work trimming. Next round will all be lollipoped nice and tight. All hung in the tent for 3 weeks at 55 - 60 RH @ 20 C smell sweet citrus hint of earthy diesel ( amazing ) but not pungent or overwhelming
