You can always remove a couple fan leaves without stressing out the plant. Just always ask yourself why you're removing the fan leaf. If you can't think of a good reason, then leave it alone!
Are these okay? The 1st one is MAC X WEDDING CAKE AUTO just removed most fan leafs... And the stretch one at the back is royal queen seeds SWEET ZZ AUTO will i still get bud off it has alot of white hairs in places? Also just removed fan leafs hence not very bushy..
Thanks
well there was no need to remove the leaves, she needs those fanleves for transporting the energy to the plant....
well she will recover, but you slowed her down , because she wants to reproduce the leaves, and gives her eneergy into that, instead of developing buds
Instead of chopping those fan leaves, try bending them down so they are not shading lower growth
Pinch leaf stem hard using thumb and fingertips; you will feel the cylinder collapse almost like a pop; the leaf will then hang down you can tuck it under lower branches to expose bud sites. If it doesn't pop/collapse then roll it a bit while still pinching hard and you will get it.
The leaf will continue to function not as well of course, but more importantly, the plant is not robbed of nutrients that it wants to consume when it finally decides that leaf should go.
if this run is over, and you think about growing more, think about getting abiger light, the Fl are great for early vegetation, but for a good flowerbuilding its not enouhg,, or your flowers stay smaller
