Great week for these plants. One of them still has a bit of lightening on the base of some of the newer mature leaves, but the plant as a whole does look healthy. I think it's close to putting them in there final pot. I'll be using some large pots that I normally use for my tomatoes & 100% coco fibre for growing medium. My tomatoes loved it last year, so I'm thinking these will too.
These plants started needing daily waterings instead of every 2 days so I knew it was time to get them in there final pots. Roots looked perfect when I transplanted them. I'll likely leave them on 24 hr light for another week or so before doing a 1 week transition to 12-12.
Not a professional grow by any stretch. But these plants get daily attention, constant air movement & great soil. I've only fertilized them once & probably won't again. Low cost is the key here. Once I switch to flowering stage I'll build some new walls for the little shack so I can ensure 100% darkness.
Big stretch this week! Trichomes are starting to form nicely on all the stems and the tops. I'll be raising up the lights this week. The plants are getting pretty close to them.
