Harvested plant 1: smallest of the three
After watching it dry up and shrink. I was convinced it wasn't going to yield much at all. Much to my surprise, 4.1 oz of flower was the end result. Not too bad for my first grow.
This plant was more so the dummy of the lot, i tested training methods, watering methods, different nutrients on it. So it’s definitely been put to work.
My aim was to yield about 6oz between the lot and now it’s looking like i may be close to double that.
The runt took 10 days before i deemed it dry. Testing the bend in the stems daily after day 5.
Tested the smoke after 1 day of being in a jar during the burping phase and it was noticeably a smooth smoke. It burnt well and wasn’t harsh. (The burnt matter had a soft grey colour to it which i heard is a good sign that the plants were flushed well)
The flavour was ok. Not too strong but i’m assuming after burping and curing it will enhance everything.
The high at the moment was pleasant. The top flowers did have a fair few amber trichomes but, so that could definitely add to the couch lock, relaxing feel it presented.
UPDATE:
Everything has been chopped and trimmed!
13.3oz was the total yield. Very happy with it but i’m confident i can do much more as i know i made a lot of errors along the way.
The remaining two plants were definitely a stickier trim. And produced more than the first plant.
The high is slightly different too as it’s more of a head high. Same flavour and scent.
Looks good - I'm currently heading into week 7 with the same genetics. I'm hoping I'll be in a position to flush next week but based on your journal, looks like I may have to wait a little while longer. I also ran into some Cal-Mag problems late in flower but I think I got it solved after some supplementation. Your result gives me hope that it shouldn't be that much of an issue in the end. Well done!
nice broo.. currently growing the same outdoor here in jamaica.. week 5 of veg and she is becoming a monster, gonna veg for 6 more weeks aiming for a pound a plant! will be following urs closely
