6-5 Happy Birthday!
Decided to start the seeds in their final pots this time and measure the growth differences from the transplants I did last time. Two are in 5 gallon fabric pot and one is in a 3.5 gallon terracotta pot.
Germinating, and getting through the seedling stage indoors with the improved germination station, good thing I didn't get rid of the blurple LED grow lamp, as it actually works pretty well for the first 3-4 sets of leaves, the blurple LED and the 50 watt 6500k T-5 should be plenty to get them started.
Left the Seeds in the glass for 4 days this time instead of 2 to let the tails get a little longer, I replaced the water in the glass a few times to get it oxygenated. Planted slightly deeper this time. They seemed to germinate better. All 3 sprouted with helmet head, only left them on for a day or less this time, so they didn't get stunted.
Lowered the light to about 6 inches in contrast to the 20 inches I had them at last time, stems aren't as spindly I noticed when I lowered the light this time around. Measured the output of the light and its about 15,000 to 20,000 Lux which seems to be perfect for the seedling stage, also leaving the light on 24 hours a day this time around instead of 16/8.
Soaked soil with crystal geyser spring water, 6.5 PH, before planting, been misting with spray bottle full of spring water for about a week, after a week I watered the center of the root zone with 80 ML water, as soon as they get a few leaf nodes will increase to 150-200 ML, too make sure I don't over water them. (150 - 200 ML is the amount I would give them last time in the solo cups, which was enough for it to run out of the bottom.
Planted 6-2, they Sprouted 6-5. 100% germination, these NL seeds seem to do well in my setup.
