A bit odd being asked the success rate when they’ve only just gone in 😂
Never anything to put here except to say that prepared the soil, fingernail deep hole, into which tumbled the bean from the packet. Covered her up with a touch more soil - Then just added water and an upturned 500ml clear plastic solo cup with a small hole in the top and hey presto, germinator/propagator.
Now comes the nail biting wait 😁
Nothing done but water and watch in amazement as another two sweet seeds, seeds that have been successful - keeping an amazing 100% success rate I’ve had!! Keep em coming @sweetseeds
Nothing but feed her and watch her grow… I love that period, sometimes tucking a leaf or two so as to allow more growth from the off, but mainly it’s just helping her get more light to more shoots rather than topping, it’s very gentle, taking only those leaves that cast shadows and only when it’s the last option. I’ve found with autos, one must be gentle as she does not have the time to recover like her photo period sisters. Everything must be done at a rolling pace with her as she cannot slow down or stop as they will effect end production.
Stay shiny 💚
We’re getting there, although the smaller of the two is showing signs of going into preflower. I usually don’t see that for another week at least but we’ll see how she gets on. Growth is on par with others from Sweet Seeds and is about right for there stage in life.
Another week closer
Stay shiny out there people
Well all kinds of training going on this week - more photos to come as things got a little busy.
Essentially I’ve pulled down each side branch in turn, leaving a gap so I can pull the main stem over to roughly match the height of the side branches.
This way, she will pour her energy into the (now), bush of stems, instead of concentrating on one, with some energy going to side branches.
Only LST and defoliation, once I’m happy she in set in her final positions, then I will only use defoliation, and then it is only to remove a damaged leaf or one causing too much shadow to the lower parts.
Stay safe out there
Ooowee what a week - since the god-light is on and strong I’ve popped them in the garden during the day and indoors at night, they’ve taken to it stunningly well.
Just the usual in terms of training, make as many tops as possible without topping or fiming - the only things I’ve taken off are leaves, and that isn’t many😂
Stay safe
Just chugging on nicely! Really coming into their own, they loved the outdoors during the last week of veg and really starting to blossom beautifully! Nothing but awesome feed and a lotta love.
Stay safe
So so happy with these ladies, they’re bulking up very nicely - I think she will produce some big nugs 🤞😂
No further training, just nipping the odd leaf that restricts light penetration, some great food and lots of love
Stay frosty
Well, here we are at week 8 of life for these ladies and I think we have another few weeks to go yet, which suits me fine as it gives me longer with them 😂
My meagre pics don’t really do these girls justice but they’re bigger buds at this stage than I’ve grown so far which I’m hoping is a good thing 😉
No change in tactics, only the odd leaf taken but no training obviously as they have enough to concentrate on… 😂
Stay frosty
It’s been a corker of a week, these girls going for it and fattening nicely!!
The smell however is amazing!! Caramel, no mistaking it - my grow room smells like a bakery 🤣💪🔥
Stay frosty
I dread to think how long these girls are going to take to dry because they are more solid than any other plant I’ve grown!!! Ridiculous!
Still my amazement aside, I’ve still just fed them and taken the odd leaf here and there. The trichs are still clear and on the turn so I would imagine they have another 2-3 weeks but we will see.
Stay frosty
Well this is her last week, she’s had a good flush, then 3 days of ice, once she has used up the last of the water from the ice I will be putting her in the dark for a full 48 hours before she is hung to dry.
She’s been fattening nicely and all her nugs feel solid. I’ve stripped a lot of fan leaves and will take care of the rest when I chop her down.
Stay frosty
Well it’s the final stages, flowers look ready but the trichs say not, so we keep going. This is number 2, she’s more compact due to an issue with soil, however she’s more than made up for it with colours and density, never felt autos this dense before - outstanding!
Feels like another week and we’ll be ready.
Stay frosty
Just a haircut this week - this is to make things easier for myself when I take her down, plus she needs to concentrate on finishing her trichomes at the moment. All in all she is about a couple of days from going into the dark but for now she is staying put
