We are on the 48th day from seed. Actually I have 3 autogelato from 'Female Seeds' and 1 (fem) Lemon Sherbert from 'Pheno Finders Seeds'. Here I will document one of the auto (the one I put in the 6.5 liter jar). The other two are for 'company' in 3.4 liter jars.
Lemon, on the other hand, will be documented in another diary.
In the initial soil I added mycorrhiza, epsom salt and earthworm humus. Once a week I make a solution of water, molasses and epsom salt.
The girls seem to be fine. Yesterday I noticed some yellow dots on the leaves and on closer examination, looking carefully under the leaves, I found some 'colonies' of yellow lice (?). I made a first treatment based on potassium soft soap. Tonight I'll sprinkle some nettle macerate and let's see who wins. If that's still not enough, I'll try with the pyrethrum which should be more aggressive.
Here we are on the 63rd day from seed. The seed bank suggests the right time to harvest between 10 and 12 weeks and, looking at the trichomes, I think it actually takes a couple of weeks to be ready. Maybe more.
Just water for the next few weeks, which, in fact, she still seems rich in nitrogen.
I think I'll continue to give the nettle macerate. In fact, taking a photo to examine the state of the trichomes, I managed to frame an ugly beast that seems to be banqueting with 'my' beloved trichomes (😱 my treassssure!!). I don't think I was lucky enough to capture the one and only 'unclean being' celebrating summer, so tonight and in the days to come, another hits of nettle macerate. Cheers!!
I’ll make comments and feelings about flavours and effects in a couple of weeks even if I don’t think I’m a good ‘ sommelier’. As for the smell: tropical fruit combined with something fresh (like Scots pine?)

Certainly, the great heat of July, during flowering, limited the final yield and quality. However, about twenty grams to be consumed waiting for the 'harvest' of early October.
Pisenlov! 😊 👋
