OK so I felt like I needed to start a diary for this lady. She is huge!! I grew her from a cutting from a previous successful grow and she has just not stopped growing. To the point where I have had to dig her a hole in the ground as she was touching the greenhouse roof! She is still growing but has started flowering also...
I have made some slight adjustments this week as she would not in the greenhouse anymore and I felt that her growth would be effected if I didn't do something. As I have other plants in there to cover her up I decided to give her a slight hair cut promote more of a bushiness growth. She has bugs under the leaves which I spray with organic pesticide but what can you expect outside? The smell is really strong and sometimes raises a few eye brows which is concerning.
I am debating whether it is worth continuing with this plant in the greenhouse due to high humidity. Also, the smell is immense now and raising a few eye brows... Just think, that's before any buds have formed yet (pistols currently)
Buds are coming on nicely now. I had to cut this back as stem rot was spreading through another stem. The humidity is quite high in here so I've left the window open slightly. Then again, the smell doesn't help and draws attention. It's manageable for now and on to a nice harvest.
Now the days are naturally getting shorter and the nights are getting longer humidity is becoming more of an issue. Some bud sites, not all, appear to have mould forming etc even though the window is kept open and moisture levels within are kept low. It is not far off done but has a while to go. It is changing quite quick as each week goes on so the harvest window will have some buds but not a huge number. I can't really risk growing it outside as it will pose a risk to unwanted visitors. As of now there is a coating on the roof so you can't see inside.
Great experience. Would've grown even taller if it was outdoors. An absolute monster that stinks and is rich in trichomes. Can't wait to harvest fully and try, it looks to be an awesome growth. Some mould spots here and there because of humidity but not a lot now. Washing will be in warm water with lemon juice
