Things going smoothly. Not too much work put in yet. Just watering when dry. No idea what genetics I have, they were random seeds that were laying around. Can't even remember where they came from. Just gotta pray they're good.
Still not doing anything as of yet, just water. Added a small bit of bloom booster, heard that it can boost the nitrogen levels without burning the plant.
Started to top and train. Leaf had what looked to be a nitrogen deficiency which was solved by the bloom booster added just a couple days prior. Slow release nutes.
Heavy defoliation, topped new colas that were growing in, stressed the plant a bit but it bounced back super fast and is blowing up now. Good hopes for what's to come.
This week started off really well. Plants are blowing up and looking super healthy, waiting till they are completely healthy then I am going to switch to flower. Did another big defoliation to strengthen all the new colas. I'd like to add that I'm only watering once to twice a week. I know I should be watering more with coco but this has been suiting me well. Was giving 2 liters but took too long to dry so I'm down to 1 liter every few days.
August 6th I flip the lights to initiate flower, the plant is booming and there's no apparent stress, only slight tip burn which was caused by nutrient lockout, lowered ph and fixed the issue quickly.
Added bloom booster on day 7 of week one flower. Both are female, no signs of hermie as of yet. We may just have gotten lucky with these random seeds. Smell is starting to become noticable, carbon filter and exhaust had to get reaaranged to sort that out. Fixed some heat issues. Very hopeful for this harvest.
Tied down all the colas to make them stronger and give them proper light / airflow. They're still growing super fast but I reduced the stretching by putting the lights down a bit. Looking good so far. Also defoliated a few days ago because they were starting to sap light from eachother.
Week 4 has started and the buds are finally starting to fill in. Guessing about another 6 weeks before it's done. Stopped all training today, defoliated one last time.
Having a little bit of burnt tips, not sure exactly what the issue is as it doesn't seem to be spreading super quickly. May be my watering schedule, all else seems to be going well though. Found a single pollen sac on one plant and safely removed it. Hopefully nothing bad happened.
Everything going well, still. Extremely frosty buds. Only a few weeks left till harvest, day 1 of week 7 is when all these pics were taken. Just giving water till nutes run dry. Amended soil with more bloom booster beginning of last week.
Added a second light right before the 2 week finish up because I was able to. Hoping it increases bud size by a bit. Looking glorious. Which I had a better camera for pics. Some pics taken last week I borrowed a friend's iPhone to take the pics. Can't wait for the end.
Harvest update: I harvested the plants very quickly and had to move 2 states the same day and the only picture I managed to get had my and my girlfriend's face in it so unfortunately won't do a full harvest update. But they came out amazing and I roughly pulled 3 ounces in all. Earthy tones and a time-bomb high.
