Outdoor Grow from Indoor Starter

This is the continuation of the diary [Indoor starter for outdoor grow] as I no longer have a harvest option on that diary to use when these plants come down. I'm going to try and lst these plants a little more and perhaps do a homemade trellis type net to contain them during flower. =-= Plants are growin nicely, despite the very hot week we're having. The smoke from wildfire season is also blocking the sun a little, unfortunate. -8/2/2021 UKBS 2 is either not liking the heat, or she's sucking up water extremely fast because of the heat. either way, she's a little droopy. -8/3/2021 UKBS 2 is suddenly very happy, likely thanks to a watering as well as some top dressed worm castings. -8/4/2021 Did a cleanup on both plants to promote better airflow going into flowering.

Think its time to add another week? Idk lol. Either way, the ladies are getting pretty big. Hoping they don't stretch too massively into the ceiling of my little greenhouse. Currently they're getting approximately 15 hours of light per day. Forgot to water UKBS 1 yesterday and she's a bit droopy today as a result. -8/10/2021 - LST'd Carl 2 a little, trying to spread her horizontally more. Some success, but she's a hard one to bend at this point. Added some stakes to both plants for extra support before going into flower.

Growth has been great despite the smoke and the very odd weather. Carl 2 is still tied to the fence. Still getting about 14 1/2 hours of sun so flower is a ways out yet. The size of them worries me, I don't know if they'll outgrow their environment or not. Updates as the week goes. -8/18- The girls were a little more thirsty than usual, and were visibly mad because of it. That was fixed shortly thereafter.

Wonderful week in the greenhouse, as usual. Plants are ridiculous. I may end up having to take them out of the greenhouse and stake them out further if they stretch too tall. Hopefully that won't be the case, but one must plan for all contingencies. I'll do some bending and LST throughout the week, and will update as normal. -8/28 - UKBS 2 is sad for some reason, despite watering yesterday. We'll see how she is tomorrow. Carl 2 is fine on the same watering schedule. Odd.

Another big week as usual for the big plants. Surely they'll start to flower soon. They're sucking water and nutes like crazy. Hard to maintain all the usage. 15l of water lasts them like a day or two. -9/4/2021 - Seeming like they're going into flower at this point, I'm going to start feeding more phosphorus. Should see some good bud development by the end of the next two weeks.

Great week. Was starting to see early signs of flowering near the end of it, a welcome sign considering the temperature is rapidly dropping overnight in my area now. I'm excited to see how flowering goes, especially observing the problems that may arise with the very cold environment.
