badazz cookies seed somehow came to the top so put that back under soil, looks like it cracked open a little so hopefully it pops too, the blueberry I am not too sure if its going to germinate or not any ideas on what to do or how long to wait for it to pop out the soil would be appreciated
Blueberry has popped and have taken the dome off hopefully humidity is fine currently fluctuating from 60-70% without the dome, think ive overfed it soil doesnt seem to be drying, so i havent fed it in a day or so.
the light was at 100% 200 watts for the first week and have lowered it to 60 from now.
leaves are no longer crispy and dry but are still rapidly changing colour, not sure if I should cut them off or let them fall off themselves ?
if I cut them off would it be beneficial ?
not sure if the plants still putting in energy to keep these leaves on the plant or not ?
Hi buddy,
The time and energy the plant would lose rejecting those leaves is the time you're saving by removing them.
Lot's of friends of mine tend to have superstitions like that "letting it fall on their own" is better... This might not be rocket science but still science so don't be afraid and don't be lazy like my friends ;)
I have transplanted them mid week 2 and they seem to be doing fine.
Have slowed down on watering them as much as I have been, I guess its benefited.
Blue dreams still lookin wack and small, however the black sugar seems to be thriving
Will be transplanting the Blueberry in a couple of days and hopefully that grows strong too
We shall see :D
First attempt at topping, It was creating its 5th node so I decided to top it, not sure if it was a good idea or if I done it correctly.
dont really have a before picture except for the one taken above.
55% on my sf2000
probably going to have to feed the middle one a lot more possible even all , seem to be having dry soil lately very quickly, been feeding them every 2 days, not sure how much i should increase watering by but will experiment and update the diary.
humidity is in the 80's using a dehumidifer to try bring it down
So a lots happend on day 2, was rotating some of the smaller plants and one of the fan leaves decided to snap and so I wiggled it a little and it completely came off.
Decided why not touch the other side see if it was as brittle and wouldn't ya know it just snapped off from slightest touch. hopefully she bounces back fine :)
The bigger plant had a fair few smaller crap break off while trying to water it, not much room at the bottom of the plant to water with my current watering can, need to fix that somehow, will probably end up removing a bunch of the lower branches overtime.
Topped the biggest plant so the others would have time to catch up hopefully I haven't topped it too late, am hoping to put it into flower in less than 2 weeks, hopefully she recovers by then.
Last week of veg
Lets hope it goes smoothly, have defoliated a bit of the lower growth
Will probs just feed it water until end of week.
60% on the light
So I'm not sure what's goin on here, the other plants aren't doing it but this big one in the middle is, the roots are coming out from the top of the soil and being exposed.
it happened earlier in the grow and I just added a layer of soil after watering.
Now its happened again
That's a good healthy plant and its over growing it container is all. I've had some plants do this as well to me. Mine where closer to harvest so I left them.
Your previous solution of adding a new layer was the right one.
You have two options that I can see.
1) Add in some more medium, maybe 1/4"-1/2" the pot seems to be able to handle it
or
2) Transplant into a bigger pot, it's still in veg and not yet switched to flower so it will be a easy transition.
option 2 is probably the better one.
That plant is going to yield massive buds I bet, take a few clones maybe it will be a winner.
Good luck
Light is up to 70 %
Flowers starting to form :)
hopefully the humidity drops because 70% I don't think will be a good grow.
not sure about feeding schedules will update the diary when I know when I'm going to be feeding them.
Humidity sits around 60-70% rough dealing with it :|
it is hard to tell but that last pic I am leaning towards male but not 100% certain yet.
In good news they can not pollinate any of your other plants until they mature and release their pollen into the environment.
You will be able to stop them long before they have a chance to do that.
Are your seeds regular or feminized?
I would contact seedsman and let them know if they where to be feminized and get some money back.
Your grow has been looking real proper and the plants are beauties.
I'm hoping they turn female for you,
only time will tell.
Best Of Luck and Happy Growing!
So the Middle Plant (Black Sugar) is showing signs of flower, but others not so much, no signs of white pistils etc growing hopefully by the end of this week they start to show.
They are still stretching a shitload though, one of the ones that aren't really showing signs of flower has outgrown the others.
Humidity around 50-58% trying to bring it lower over time, few more days should bring it down to 45.
Had a lot of lower growth that I didn't defoliate in the veg start to die so I had cut one off so far, probably need to cut more off but don't want to mess with it during flower, probably will let them fall off on their own
The fiming of the middle plant made 4 main stems, then topped 2 of those after it grew out a bit, dayum the canopy is looking really beautiful.
Not much difference from last week,
very hot lately 30 C + Humidity around 50-60%
One of the plants is so close to the light it's probably gonna ruin that budsite unless I find a way to bring the stems down a bit or the light up more.
plants are around 5ft tall, will measure exactly soon :)
So one of my plants decided she wasn't big enough grew as tall as the light, I tried bending her and she snapped, now the other branch of the same tree has over taken the light, how would you suggest I bring them down without breaking it again ?
P.S No room to bring light up
Roll that and pinch it before bending.
I feel out how dense the branch is. Then pinch and roll a bit, let it sit for a minute and do it again if it’s not moving much.. slowly the tissue will soften up enough to bend over..
Great week so far, have defoliated a fair bit, id say 30-40% of lower part of the plants are defoliated.
not much to say tbh will update if anything happens,
45-60% humidity
Light 90%
feeding PK13/14 every feed for this week.
end of the week the plants are lookin a lot fatter, the blue dreams is almost 6ft tall and same with the blueberry, hell of a stretch period they had since they were a lot smaller than the black sugar, I'd assume its because I didn't LST them like I did with the black sugar next time I'll know, LST all your plants
So far so good, buds are fattening up and covering fair bit of each branch on the black sugar,
no longer feeding pk13/14
using boost on every water
humidity stays around 45-55%
Temp is a bit wild but never over 30
still havent fixed the overgrown plants, I cant LST them from the lower parts, I'm not sure what I can do since the only part that is not "woody" is the very top of the plant, everywhere else feels like it will snap, I'm not confident in breaking down the inner cell walls or whatnot because they all "woody" not sure what I'm going to do, maybe she will hit the top of the tent who knows :p
day 33 buds are sticky and smelling, coming along great :)
so i attempted to supercrop it was not intentional i tried bending her a little and holding it in place with a tie but i put too much force on it i think and it bent too much so now im holding it up with some wire hopefully its enough to keep it alive lol
So far so good not much to say buds are fattening up and slowly covering the stems, have maxed out the light to 100% now and the part that I have supercroped seems to be still kicking, hopefully lol.
Lets hope this week goes smoothly :)
humidity around 45-50% pretty good imo
only have one oscillating fan going
same nutrient regiment boost every water etc
humidity around 50-60% on day 43 hopefully fixed by tomorrow
buds are fat as dont have another net so am just tying them to the tent and such
fillin out nicely day 45 :)
starting to water twice a day, ran out of boost so guess im flushing :p ?
Probably going to be the last week of flower, might push it another week we shall see
day 53 only water since day 49
cant believe how big the buds are, Id say each main budsite is super dense on the middle plant and is thicker than a coke can :D
its getting closer to the end of the line and dayum, for my first time growing I never though it'd come out this good looking haha thanks to all those who have taken their time to help me with the issues I have and thank you for visiting this diary :)
end of week at, been flushing for a little, colours have been changing ;D
Nothing to update just flushing another week and hopefully blue dreams starts finishing up
well day 61 and my dehumidifer has broken i think, its turned on but dont think it dehumidifies anything :( shall buy a new one tomrrow
last day of week 9 :D they lookin beautiful, I think it's time to pull them down :)

@cRypto666, sweet as thanks for the information mate I have put light closer to plants hopefully its good enough, will measure it later on and see if its 30cm.
Hey Dude,
Peace cRypto
@nocluehowto, I water every 2-3 days only when the soil is completely dry this may or may not take longer with your pots, it always depends on the growth phase in which they are my ladies now need 300 ml of water for 2 days instead of 200 ml
@nocluehowto, Usually you use about 10% of the capacity of your pots. If one speaks of 16 galons pots you pour 1.6 gals of water and nutrients. Drainage water does not necessarily have to run out.
@cRypto666, nope no PH meter, I may get one if PH becomes a problem but I don't think it is at the moment.
I could be wrong nd PH could be out of wack but it would most likely show in the plant.
