I'm new to Grow Diaries let alone growing this being my third run.
I am from South Africa using what I can find at affordable rates and what is accessible to me.
I will be growing in my cupboard kind of stealth....
I germinated using water in a glass, then moving over to paper towel, rapid rooter then 17litre fabric pots filled to about 80%.
The strains being a barneys farm purple punch auto and Dutch passion critical orange punch auto. One seed each left over. Both sprouted
On day 6 of the seeds out the ground, I noticed the purple punch pushed through a twin wich just had coltydone and I made the executive decision on trying to separate them before they both fight for space. I seperated it and placed the twin in its own rapid rooter just to see what would be the outcome
This is week one of my weed plant out in the open.
I kind of lost track which day I was on I believe as I'm writing this, that it is day 12.
Plants are moving along nicely, have not watered it in a while.
The twin that emerged and that was separated seems to be doing good and growing along just fine. However the roots of the twin have not filled the jiffy plugs yet.
Sad thing is I only had enough coco for 2 grows I did not expect a twin seed so I will have to wait an additional week to get coco
This week I adjusted the grow cupboard.
I added the MH ballast set to 250watts, set to about 70cm+ height.
Heat is killing me i can reach 32c on days due to the MH and heat. RH at 45-50%
For now the purple punch seems to be doing good, this will be its first dose of light nutrition. As for the twin it's moving extremely slow
I watered with GH micro 3ml for a 4l, added 1ml silica, and had to ph down. I'm also using the GH ph test liquid wich is roughly ph'd to 6
