Just planted a couple of seeds at first, so I can learn about what I’m getting into before I go all out.

I hit them with a tad of fish emulsion. Other than that, just rainwater.

These ladies look like they are about ready to play. I haven’t noticed anyone using carnivorous plants as a form of pest control. Any thoughts?

Howdy folks!! This is my first grow & I’m planning on using bonemeal during flower, but I’m not sure when I should start using it or if I even need to? I make my own compost and things seem to be going great now, but not sure it’s enough through flower.

Hey, I use dry amendments and I don't use just one, a good whole rounded mix is key. Bone meal depending on who manufactures it normal follows this pattern. Some N - Good amount of P - Little to no K = 3-15-0 The smaller amount of Nitrogen will be needed in flower and not to worry about that. It also has a good amount of calcium in it as well as its mainly calcium and phosphorus from bones. With that said. you will need to add in some magnesium as the calcium should not be added with out it. The other down side to bone meal is that it has to be worked into the medium and be broken down by microbes to be useful and its low in potassium. If your soil is not living you need to add in all the life. use worm castings or other composts. The last bit is the lack of potassium K, you will need to supplement some form of it along side bone meal. Kelp meals and seaweed extracts are great sources for this. Green sand is also an option but less available and takes longer to break down. I like to use all in one products like Dr.Earth or Gaia Green as their mixes are quite well manufactured and contain all the needed extras to balance each other out. Happy Growing!

I put a fresh layer of my homemade living soil over the garden and topped with a layer of mulch. I also added a few more worms. Then, I mixed a tad bit of bone meal with some of my living soil & spread around the base of the plants & watered. Sure hoping for an exciting week!!

It’s the time I’ve been waiting for!! I had to add a humidifier and dial the lights back a tad, but they are growing quite beautifully.

Happy Harvest Day!

As I’m waiting for it to cure, I can’t currently speak on the smoke, but for Crop Kings to get a fella some seeds, & that fella has no idea what they are doing, but can still produce this…… I’d say you can’t go wrong with Crop Kings. Update: I finally got to try out my long awaited efforts and it was definitely worth the wait!! As you’d expect with Pineapple, it was somewhat fruity. Also, very smooth and a pungent aroma. I’m currently sampling others, but will definitely get the Pineapple from Crop Kings again.

My final dry weight was… 105 grams. I had no reason to weight it while wet. I started this journey on Christmas Eve, not knowing a thing. It’s taken a lot of time & not all we’re great, but these 2 beauties did exactly what I needed them to do. Just grow,so I could learn. I now have several other plants growing & should all be in better shape with what all Ive learned so far & just gonna keep growing and learning. As for crop kings, I give them all 5 stars!! I tried going cheaper and went through Seedsman, but only 2 of the 3 germed and the 2 that did, are nothing compared to these that I got from Crop Kings. Thanks for everyone’s help and kind words along the way & happy growing to y’all!! P. S. The worms down below are all still doing their thang and all of my carnivorous plants seemed to their job as well.
