She is coming along nicely ... she's jumped back from my abuse of dropping her and breaking her pot.
She is now in a 3gal fabric pot and seems rather happy. I could the 7 gal pots but I just don't feel like having her in one that big again because its hard to fit when they're too big. I like how bushy the other plants are and will do my best to keep this girl bushy.
So far so good, as she moves into her first week of flower I went ahead and gave her a nitrogen boast before switching her to the flowering nutes.
She's bushy and seems to enjoy life, but she droops quickly when she's not getting the water she wants.
I'm starting to worry that she's tricking me into overwatering her with the way she droops.
I worked with her to do some low stress training. It was really hard to try to pull on her though because her stem is very thick and very solid.
This girl looks very different than the other plants I've grown. She's got a different shape to her.
I had some issues with myself last week and sadly this girl suffered for it when I forgot to water.
Some dried leaves looked realllllly bad and I was worried I was going to lose her... but a good heavy watering and some nutes brought her right back into it.
Im still taking off dead leaves but she's got a good green coat going.
Her buds are starting to develop ... she was in early flower but i think she's officially budding now. It's odd though because it looks so different... thats just cause I've only grown one other kind of strain before this and it was very different.
She has a strong scent but it's hard to name it because she's in the tent with multiple plants of different strains.
She's taller than I thought, but still rather bushy. I really love the colors she's developing though am worried about a dried rusty coloring on some leaves.
This is one plant that I really really wish I had topped more than once. I did top her once but then I had add some situations going on and she did not get additional support. She is one of the bushiest things I've grown yet.
Her buds look completely different than the Orange cookies which is the only plant that I've grown so far besides these. These are denser and thicker but have a layer leaves in between each section. She's at the stage where her buds look like a lot of little leaves just curled around each other. Her pistols are going away faster than I would have thought though.
Today is day 70 since the day she germinated.
I spent some time today taking off the dead leaves from when I accidentally let her dry a little too much. By the time I was finished my fingers were so sticky. I wish I could describe the smell. But there's too many different strains growing in the tent and smoking in the house so it's hard to tell.
I'm really enjoying this grow. I'm starting to get to the point where I'm getting really curious about her taste and how she smokes. But I think if I had to guess I'm only about halfway there maybe is there maybe 2/3.
I decided to do a partial harvest on this lady as im still trying to decide if I like the heavy high or the upper highs.
So ... and I love this .. I picked some bananas .. they made my fingers smell amazing and I put them up to dry.
Normally I like to hang the whole plant but this time I'm trying to do a trim and then hang the plant later.
I'm excited to say that the new humidifier made all the difference in the world and I've actually got the humidity where it needs to be.
The only issue is that it's rather warm and will only get warmer as the Temps outside rise. I grabbed a little portable cooler thing to try out ... hopefully I can get a good smoke out of this girl!
