Not feeding her till 2 weeks old due to the soil containing enough nutes to kickstart her...
Soo yeah, being my very first grow, as y'all know, it's all about trial and error besides fine tuning the environment conditions... A bro here warned me that if the babies do not get much direct light, they will be "leggy"... now I know what that means as they are stretching so hard..... All is not lost as I just ordered the indoor grow kit and it should arrive in a couple of days... I hope that will keep me on track!
Will feed Bactomatik from Agrobacterias today (Day 12) just waiting for the soil to dry out a bit as it need to be applied diluted in one liter.
We are always learning... I've been having the feelz that bros around here have theyr janes not bigger than mine, but wayyy more developed as in a lot more leaf mass... then, I figured, my light is just way too up, 65 cm, and that is making them stretch! moved the light to a about 25 cm and am trying to keep it cool with one fan blowing at the top, although as space is limited, Im kinda worried that it might be too windy as they wiggle a bit....
I am stunned in awe at these wonderful plants... being a cannabis admirer for most of my life and this being my very first proper grow, I find my self countless hours just staring at her from the air intake hole of the tent, fascinated by just how this little plant has such a huge impact in the future of humanity.... it all comes down to those little pistils and all the love that this amazing plant has for us humans.... I f*** love this
She appears to be slowing down growth at 55 cm day 30/31, widow is bigger than this one by now, although I do trust she still has way to go...
As these are auto plants, and I'm a complete noob yet, I'm refraining from defoliate the lower less developed branches, or even defoliate at all! I did cut out already the first and second set of leaves including the first fake ones that remained fresh till day 30.....
She has been showing some major Nitrogen Toxicity signs, one fan leaf is almost all yellowish and looking really sick.
I checked soil Ph and had a reading of 5, closer to 4 than to 6, which is bad.
I'm days away from ordering Ph up and Ph Down from General Hidroponics to start Phing the water.
I don't think growth was much affected, all three bubbles look the same as in small branches, nothing like Widow.
Could be that (theory) Widow has actually more affinity to intake Bio-Grow and Bloom from early age using it to grow as much as possible and has more aversion to nitrogen when she starts flowering, on the other hand, bubble could be more sensitive to nitrogen altoghether, having a slower nitrogen intake, her soils got too acid causing nitrogen lockdown, could be the reason why they clawed from an early age, they were showing me that they take less nitro than what i was giving them.... We are learning every day...
So the sick leaf has kinda dried up and became crackling, another leaf is turning yellow too, could be endgame stage, I'm exited how much info this run will give me to prepare for the next one....
