Very good germination percentage, 100 % on all strains except for Space Queen (assuming from age, were "freebie" seeds with order) and Beaver Seed Pineapple Auto (would not recommend this company).

Pleased with progress. G13 Genuis and Princess Haze are under VipaSpectra 600 and other strains are under Mars Hydro 300 in tent. Watt for watt the plants under VipaSpectra had much better vegetative growth. Grape vine I was also growing did not put out new growth under Mars Hydro. It began to show new leaves about 3 days after being moved under the VipaSpectra.

Time to start hardening the babies in the sun and wind, the latter of which is very intense on the property. High elevation, up hill from a lake that the wind wips across ferociously. The sun didn't damage them in this process but the wind did. First time I've had this issue with lots of wind burn to leaves, especially fans. I left them out in a few wind storms intentionally to prepare them for the thunderstorms and high winds that are sure to arrive in summer. If they're going to snap my as well be now than later.

The girls went through a serious amount of heat this summer. Basically hottest summer on record for my Massachusetts location. Around 5 heat waves and 20 days of 90 degrees. Daily watering was very necessary. They're big drinkers. 6ft Orange pole in photos used as size reference. Ferts listed were started this week after pics. Beginning of August. Also used my own homemade fertilizer/compost tea. Recipe to follow in upcoming weeks.

Skipped quite a few weeks of entry in the flowering department. An abridged diary I suppose. These pictures are from month of September, up untill the 22nd. First plants were harvested yesterday. An early maturing Princess Haze and a Cherry Cake (seed from last year's outdoor). Need to cut fairly quickly and in good succession due to limited drying room. Since July I have been watering with a custom compost tea. A 40 gallon drum I started making last spring (making the brew over year aged) was filled with selected weeds from the property for their nutrient content. Main ones used were Burdock, Dandelion, Alfalfa and Clover. The bucket was filled with the leaves, stems and roots. Garden scraps of all kinds were used. My chickens made grear contributions. Egg shells as well as whole eggs were added. The shells completely disintegrated. Chicken poop was hand harvested and allowed to age in 5 gallon buckets. 5 gallons was added to barrel in early summer and I continued replenishing it as I needed to continually add more water through the season. Approximately 10 gallons poop in total was used to make around 160 gallons of the tea. The beneficial microbes and organisms in the mix were plentiful and the plants responded wonderfully to it. This was an all purpose brew for all phases of growing. I am making next years at the moment and be adding another barrel to make a tea designed for flowering. This stuff works and better than anything money can buy, especially for organic purposes.

Took down a few more of the girls this week. Mildew was becoming an issue quickly with a few Princess Haze. Actually washed each plant with a garden hose before harvesting. Does have an effect on potency and taste but was necessary with these few plants, even if only using for extract, which is the plan. Only had one Punch Cookie so took it before having problems with mold, wind, rot, caterpillars etc. Platinum OG was good and ready. Sticky as bubblegum. Keeping a good eye on my prize Cherry Cake. That girl blew everything else out of the water this year. Thinking 10 days away from a full harvest.
