Skipped quite a few weeks of entry in the flowering department. An abridged diary I suppose. These pictures are from month of September, up untill the 22nd. First plants were harvested yesterday. An early maturing Princess Haze and a Cherry Cake (seed from last year's outdoor). Need to cut fairly quickly and in good succession due to limited drying room. Since July I have been watering with a custom compost tea. A 40 gallon drum I started making last spring (making the brew over year aged) was filled with selected weeds from the property for their nutrient content. Main ones used were Burdock, Dandelion, Alfalfa and Clover. The bucket was filled with the leaves, stems and roots. Garden scraps of all kinds were used. My chickens made grear contributions. Egg shells as well as whole eggs were added. The shells completely disintegrated. Chicken poop was hand harvested and allowed to age in 5 gallon buckets. 5 gallons was added to barrel in early summer and I continued replenishing it as I needed to continually add more water through the season. Approximately 10 gallons poop in total was used to make around 160 gallons of the tea. The beneficial microbes and organisms in the mix were plentiful and the plants responded wonderfully to it. This was an all purpose brew for all phases of growing. I am making next years at the moment and be adding another barrel to make a tea designed for flowering. This stuff works and better than anything money can buy, especially for organic purposes.
@@Chunga, I wish I did a few more in the ground. I live at a high elevation with ridiculous wind so if needed I can move the plant or lay it down for a storm. The few in ground each have well over a pound. Need to upload soon. Again thanks for the appreciation!
