Better late than never- All auto-flowering plants were started in the month of May, during this time I (TOH) was very sick and unable to get these diaries started. Out of respect to the breeders along with the companies that supplied these seeds we would like to show our gratitude be sharing their growth, I apologize for the lack of pictures and the time that it has taken for me to get the diary logs started. From here and now on, we grow.
We grew the photoperiod Candy and I (TOH) very much enjoy the smoke, I find it is great for the energy boost that I need before exercise along with maintaining a steady flow all day long which is necessary for my fibromyalgia.
Hopefully the auto will have the same qualities.
As you can see she is looking quite beautiful already!
The Auto Candy is not at all like the Photo that we grew but she is very pretty and she is moving quickly. We just had a calm but steady rain and she seems to have enjoyed it. There have been no issues with her and we do hope to keep it that way!
Beautiful weather and a week without issues, that is the all around report!
The top dress along with Bokashi was applied and a rain barrel treat was shared to all once this week with a mix of Hygrozyme and Hyshield, it seemed to be very much enjoyed. A good spray of NForce helped with the aphids along with the stink bugs that were threatening to take over the gardens and Optic foliar spray was applied once a few days later, so far we are happily growing!
We have been watering daily to keep things moist, on the hotter days it has both morning and night.
No issues to report this week, we had a good hard rain yesterday and it was surely enjoyed. The top dress along with Bokashi have been once again applied and the watering is a daily chore although the rain helped out yesterday. The rain barrel was used to brew the Tea for three days which was a combination of 444, Bokashi, Cal mag and microbial mass. It was shared to all our ladies and it was also very much enjoyed, as always!
We have found that a good cold tap water spray not only kills the powdery mildew but also clears away the bugs, we will do this when needed but thankfully the autos do not seem to be under attack. Holding steady we continue to grow as does our garden!
Note- this beauty does NOT need a hose down and she is right beside the girls that do. We take that as a sign of strength! Candy is a WOW!
We are loving this girl, she is a good strong plant when it comes to fighting off disease. We have been watering twice daily and that is all she will receive as she approaches her harvest time. Her colours are lovely and her smell is sweet, she will definitely have a nice wash to clean her of any critters that still remain. The bugs and pests have been quite bad this year but Mother Nature is in charge when you grow outdoors. So far, we love her.
This was a nice clean harvest, she smells wonderful and sweet! We would definitely grow this strain again although we would most likely keep the autos growing indoors, this girl was strong and not susceptible to disease which is a great quality to find. As for the weight, it is obviously not accurate.
