Soaked for 12 hours, sank immediately. Planted in sterile organic Jiffy seeds starting mix, pH 6.5. we'll be taking the place of two sour diesel males that got pulled today. Weather warm and lots of evening thunderstorms, one inch of rain in the last week
Experiencing a massive heat wave. 104°F today will be 101 tomorrow.. only one out of two seats came up, and she actually came up yesterday so waiting on the other.
It's been a consistent 103 and above for a week straight, did receive 3/4 of an inch of rain in two different rain storms and a small hailstorm.. seedlings had an accident involving a patio umbrella and ended up on the ground, so I transplanted to the garden a little bit early.
Pinch the growing tip out at the third set of leaves. Hopefully hot weather is cooling down, started LST and sprayed with azamax because it looks like something is munching on it.
Heatwave is over. Cooler temperatures the last 5 days, much needed rain. Has been getting nibbled on by grasshoppers so covered with de for the time being seems to be keeping them away, pinched out tip and LST, but me pinched it out again ,doesn't look like it worked.. lol might have actually missed pinching out the tip and just cut the leaves off . . I will try again lol
This little fans doing really well. Have enjoyed the LST on it and it's growing and nice and even.. I'll move the Staples one more time and next week she should start flowering so I'll just pull the Staples out and let her go
Well, went last night to check the LST straps on this plant and found out that it is a male. So I went ahead and dug him up and he got transferred over to the caretaker with my other male so he can finish out pollination and I will be collecting the pollen and watching how he grows out to see if maybe I want to use it on a female or two.
No trip report on the buds as this feminized seed actually ended up being male lol, I went ahead and harvested him for his pollen and will be using the pollen on some Auto gelatos, and blueberry f2... possibly also breeding a earth to Kush.
This Hindu kush feminized seed ended up being a male..sooo... I harvested him for his pollen and will be using him as a breeding project. I actually did enjoy the branching and overall structure of the plant, had quite a bit of pollen so if that's any indicator as you how the female would make buds I am satisfied, and I'm curious what offspring with the gelato would give me. I also be keeping some of this pollen in the freezer for next spring, if I find a female like then may also do another cross
