This was my first grow indoors, and my first cannabis grow. When I started this grow I had prior plant experience which in hindsight really helped even with that though I made mistakes with this grow. Clones were taken from 21 day F defol of Grandaddy Purp Of unknown breeder and vegatative toppings from Wedding Punch. Clones were taken some time apart but were flowered together. The wedding Punch were vigorous throughout it's life while the Purp was a sickly girl. singular. I yanked one of the purp clones because of how porrly it was doing. Rooting for all these were a breeze and the early days I was using a Window without a grow light for the purp. I got the wedding Punch Clones later along with my HID lights. HPS for flower and metal halide for veg.
I took advantage of the light to grow strawberries along with other stuff. I tried to keep th room packed with my plants to keep the humidity up. I didn't have a humidifier for this grow so I got creative fighting the low humidity of an indoor winter grow. at this point I still have both of the purp and still don't have the second wedding punch clone.
It was really cold even with an HID running for 20 hours a day in the grow space. I've got the second punch clone now and the HST on the first is going well. The Purp is being pissy about the cold and decides to just not grow while the punch don't care. I'm not sure if it was at this point that I started fighting thrips but I fought bugs of one kind or another for the entire grow.
Purp is Still complaining but starting to green back up and the punch is just wow. I started to comtemplate flipping but wanted all happy plants and for the smaller later punch clone to put on some growth first.
This plant was a pain in the ass, yield was low, it was slow in veg, slow in flower. The only saving grace was the bud was gas After cure the smell was phenomenal and the high was true couch-lock.
