Soaked the seed in warm water for 12 hours, stuck it in the pot and left it be. Nothing more to it :)

Even though it's in its starter pot, this plant has started life outdoors. All is well and she is healthy. Really excited to be growing this plant. A South African landrace being grown in a South African garden under the African sun. Good times :)

Was a nice sunny week this week and the girl did well with the heat. The drainage of the starter soil I made isn't as good as it should be, so she's looking slightly overwatered. Will make sure this is corrected when transferring to the final pot.

We're now fully into veg and she has her 4th node. Once she gets her 5th node and the 6th starts appearing I'm going to transplant to final container. Weather was quite rainy this week, so direct sunlight was limited.

Transplanted her into her final pot this week. No transplant shock and she's doing good. 5th and 6th nodes are growing. Going to let it grow for a day or two more and then top. Weather was warm this week but still quite a bit of rain. Sprayed some neem oil on her as a preventative against mildew. Will spray every two weeks till we're into pre-flower.

An eventful week. I topped her to the 4th node and removed the growth points from the bottom two nodes. She is recovering well and looking strong. Also gave her some veg nutes this week for the first time. It's Christmas on Sunday and I'm away for 6 days. Gave her a good soaking, sprayed on some neem oil and left her outside. Should get some rain so she won't dry out while I'm away.

Was away for almost a full week. She managed quite well outside on her own with some rain and shine and is healthy. Couple of the leaves are looking a bit strange but I'm not too concerned at this point. Decided to do a second topping, so this is now going to be my version of a mainline (never done one before). So first topping was above the 4th node. Second topping is above the 2nd node of top two branches (4th node) . I've kept the growth sites on the 3rd node (but didnt top) and removed the growth sites on the bottom two nodes. I've now started with the lst and will just continue with that. About 2-3 weeks to go till flower season.

A bit of a rainy week this week so not as much direct sunlight as one would hope for. This girl is really looking good and so far I'm really happy with the results of the topping and lst. Just adjusted the ties a bit this week and did nothing else. Can't wait to watch the stretch. Two of my other plants have had a small leaf miner issue this week, but this girl has had absolutely no issues and is healthy and strong.

It was a really hot and sunny week this week (30+ degrees celcius everyday) but this girl seemed to love the heat. All went well and she is putting on good size. Upped the nutes a bit and added some bone meal, acid compost and chicken manure pellets to the soil. We got our first pistils at the end of the week, so flower and the stretch are upon us, which is exciting. Going to stop the lst this next week and let her do her thing. LFG! :)

She's into flower now and all of the bud sites have pistils. Surprisingly not all that much in the way of stretch yet. It was a really nice, hot and sunny week this week. I've started mixing in some bloom nutes with the grow nutes. Will probably switch completely to bloom nutes in two weeks.

We're currently in a heatwave so it's been hot, windy and low humidity, which seems to have affected the tips of the pistils a bit. Also might have a slight nitrogen deficiency. Some of the lower fan leaves have been yellowing. Added some acid compost to try and make sure the soil is in the right range to take up the nutes. Think the pot size might also be holding her back a bit with the stretch. Will try a slightly bigger pot next time I mainline a plant. On a positive note the canopy is looking lovely and all bud sites are now full of pistils. Needs a bit of defoliation but I'll hold off a week.

It was rainy and cloudy this week so not a lot of direct sun. This girl has stretched as much as she's going to, so I lollipopped at the end of this week. No more grow nutes and upping the bloom nutes now. Was hoping for her to be a bit taller, but other than that I'm really happy with how she's looking. Now all that's left to do is watch those buds swell :)

It's been rain, rain and more rain this week. This plant sat in the rain a couple of times, but has handled it well and zero signs of powdery mildew. She's looking good and the buds are starting to form nicely. She's recovered well from last week's lollipopping too. Seems there is going to be quite a bit more rain for the next month so I'm a bit concerned about the lack of direct sunlight stunting the plant's growth. But as they say, it is what it is. We'll just keep going and hope for the best.

This girl is doing quite well, and we're getting trichomes now, along with a very faint smell up close. It's been another week of heavy rain, so direct sunlight is still scarce unfortunately. Forecast however says we're finally in for a sunny week coming up.

The sun finally came back out this week and we're back on track. The colas are looking good. A beautiful smell up close, but still can't really smell it from a distance, so I think it's safe to call it a good stealth strain at this point. Also did one last defoliation yesterday. Judging by the pistils and trichomes, I think we're 1-2 weeks away from harvest.

We're looking good and I think one more week harvest. She's getting a bit more fragrant but it's still only noticeable up close. We're having some good weather at the moment so a nice way to finish off the grow. Excited for the coming week :)

It's been an interesting week this week. Seeing some amber trichomes on some buds but not others. She also decided to push out some new white pistils in week 8 of flower which I wasn't expecting. No light leaks or change in conditions so it's probably genetics. Was planning on harvesting today but I'm going away for the weekend so won't be able to monitor drying and in any event I think one more week will do her good, so I'm going to push her one more week and see what happens. Spotted a little bit of powdery mildew (common in my garden at this time of year) on some of the lower leaves so decided to go ahead with the pre harvest defoliation a bit early and sprayed the plant last night with a mild hydrogen peroxide solution. Will do a budwash next week when I harvest to deal with any remaining PM. The smell has gotten a bit stronger this week, but still not all that noticeable from a distance.

This strain is definitely heat, mold and pest resistant. Was super easy to grow, with no deficiencies or issues. Smell stayed low throughout so I can recommend it for growing on a balcony or small garden outdoors.

I live in an apartment complex with a small garden so growing out there I've got to keep my plants as low odor and low height as possible. This girl met both those criteria. Grow went really went and she wasn't very demanding when it came to feeding. My first ever semi mainline and I'm happy with how it turned out. She was a beauty :) This girl went through a month long heatwave and then almost a month of constant rain with very little sun and remained perfectly healthy and happy. Budwashed straight after harvest, first with a baking soda / lemon juice solution, then with an h2o2 solution and then rinsed in two basins of plain water. Wet trimmed and dried for 7 days. Final weight is 61 grams. Will cure for a month before I give it a taste and come back with the smoke report.
