Started to germinate a single ILGM mango Kush seed.
I recently set up a small veg shelf. This grow will be mainly to experiment with the capacity of the shelf as well as the timing to get a small perpetual grow going.
I also plan to switch over to an organic soil mix using pro mix, worm castings, and gaia green. However the promix I ordered will not arrive until after Christmas, and I am impatient. So I’ll be starting her in the following mix of fox farm soils:
32.5% ocean forest
32.5% happy frog
35% perlite
I started the seed directly in the soil in a coconut husk starter pot. I am using the pot to try to mitigate transplant shock.
I gave the seedling 125 ml of plain water ph to 6.5.
The plant is starting in an AC Infinity humidity dome, with a 30 watt led seedling starter strip. When she outgrows the humidity dome (around 2 weeks) she will go under the Viparspectra xs 1000 for a few more weeks before going in the tent under the xs1500 for flower.
When the new soil comes and I transplant I will give full details of the mix.
I also have a avocado pit that is germinating on the shelf below. I will give periodic updates on Avi as he grows!!
Happy Growing, Buddy! :seedling::seedling::seedling:
