26/03: 6 of these biscotti are looking lovely and as they should for this age however 3 are looking quite behind - I do hope they will catch up - otherwise all is going as should and I installed the oscillating fan in there today. added sticky traps for any fungus knats
02/04: had to get rid of one as it was taking too long to sprout and switched it with a good plant into the larger pots. One more week Veg and then to flip end of next week - looking good though with only two smaller stragglers.
10/04: Nice large plants here - 3 weeks in veg - have topped and put into 12/12 from a few days ago - already seeing some grow from the topped kola either side
16/04: one week into the flowering and plants have taken well to the topping - theres some lovely light green bud sites being displayed and im confident the flowering will go well - I have had to change up the lights this week as well as done some semi thorough defoliation to the lower fan leaves and also those that were blocking the budding sites.
23/04: very impressive for the second week of flower - massive difference from the first week - a beautiful almost cake like smell to the leaves - had to keep defoliating due to the tent becoming cramped - lights already on smallest ratchets.
30/04: the tent is fairly crowded so of course - lots of defoliation this week - that being said the colas are developing well round a bout the half way mark - looking good and smelling even better.
1st time growing Biscotti - i did top but still the colas looking thin for their age - minimal trichs - any 1 with experience growing this strain? what can I expect is this normal? smells nice and sweet but im underwhelmed. in living soil which works well for my other plants.
Appears these plants have been pollinated - Really curious as to how this has happened? is there a male in the tent? shall I just let this tent run its course anyway or take the plants down? what can I expect? Many thanks !
You can expect many seeds. Like weed from when I was a kid. All had seeds. The plant hermied on you. Several factors can make them do this. Stress, light leaks, just a seed that already had that trait. You can still smoke, removeing the seeds first of course. Not a total loss. You can use it for making extracts even.
