Watermelon Zkittlez - Outdoor 2023

Week 1: March 24 2023 - April 2 2023 Seed sprouted and broke soil within 72 hours, and is looking great after a full week. First time trying this strain, as well as a Fast Version. October can be a little scary come harvest season, so I thought it would be worth trying something that finishes a little bit earlier. Got the seeds from Quebec Cannabis Seeds, but this strain was not updated on the list. I have had nothing but positive results with this breeder so decided to try something new. Week 2: April 3 2023 - April 9 2023 Great week with steady growth. Plants are doing fine. Watering more frequently and will start to introduce nutrients within the next couple of weeks. Good stretch of warm weather coming ahead, I'll be putting the plants outside in the natural sunlight for a few hours every day. Not much else to report. Plants are doing well and look healthy. Week 3: April 10 2023 - April 16 2023 Incredible weather this week! Was able to get the plants outside every day for 4-6 hours and they loved it! Huge difference compared from Monday to Saturday. Pretty much doubled in size thanks to the natural sunlight. Watermelon Zkittlez is growing well, despite being the smaller of the bunch. The leaves are developing well, and offshoots are starting to grow in. Introduced nutrients for the first time at the end of the week. Mixed the above amounts in 1 L of water, and then gave each plant 250ml (1 cup). Will be getting ready to top in the next week or two. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 4: April 17 2023 - April 23 2023 Lots of rain and cooler temperatures this week, so I kept the plants indoors. Plants responded to the nutrients from last week, will be feeding them weekly with the same dosage. (Amounts poured into 1 L of water, and then split between all 4 of my plants - 0.25 L, or 1 cup, each) Topped Watermelon Zkittlez at the end of the week and cleaned up some of the smaller growth and leaves at the bottom of the plant. This one shot up in the last week and really grew. She has some nice side branches developing and is recovering well from being topped. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 5: April 24 2023 - April 30 2023 Plant has been showing signs of flowering. She has really stretched out and started developing a lot of pistils. Not sure if its shock from being topped, or if I accidentally got an autoflower seed instead of a feminized fast version. Overall, the plant seems healthy but I'm a bit surprised if she starts to flower. If I had known it was an autoflower, I would not have topped her. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 6: May 1 2023 - May 7 2023 (Flowering Begins) Watermelon Zkittlez has fully gone into flower. She is starting to develop several bud sites and continues to stretch out. I couldn't keep her in the starter pot anymore so I transplanted her into an 8 L pot (approx. 2 gallons). Still not sure if this was an autoflower I accidentally planted, or if it's from the shock of being topped, but I'm leaning towards her being an auto. I did not change any of my light cycles and all my other plants are continuing to veg. Overall, Watermelon Zkittlez seems to be doing well. I know it isn't wise to transplant autoflowers or top them, but I honestly didn't know. I boosted the nutrients and increased the bloom formula and fed the plant a full mixture of 1 L. Plant is responding well to the nutrients and the new pot, so I should get a decent little harvest in the next couple months. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 7: May 8 2023 - May 14 2023 Watermelon Zkittlez seems to be doing well in her new pot and continues to push out bud sites. She has streched again and is almost 2 feet tall. Trichomes are starting to appear and she is developing quite nicely. Looking forward to the results. Depending when she is ready to harvest, I'm considering planting a second autoflower to try and squeeze out two harvests this year. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
