Welcome back my friends! I am very pleased to announce the start of a partnership that's been in the works for a while: HUBA Seed Bank.

:star2::star2::star2::star2::star2: ABOUT THE BREEDER :star2::star2::star2::star2::star2:

HUBA, Hungarian Breeders Association, is a UK-based seed bank, that is deeply rooted in the Hungarian cannabis communities. Established in 2012, the collective aims to protect and preserve some of the finest cannabis genotypes available. Most of their strains are stabilized IBL’s suitable for breeding, but are also eager to create new varieties and promising F1 hybrids, like autoflowering and CBD-enriched strains. Seed viability and quality is their biggest concern, therefore always maintain a fresh seed stock; any seed batch that is older than 3 years, will be replaced with new ones.

:star2::star2::star2::star2::star2: ABOUT THIS GROW SERIES :star2::star2::star2::star2::star2:

This diary is round 1 of my HUBA grow series. This round consists of the following cultivars provided by HUBA Seed Bank:

:white_check_mark: AK-47 Auto
:white_check_mark: Glueberry Auto
:white_check_mark: Gorilla Glue Auto

:star2::star2::star2::star2::star2: PROGRESS UPDATES :star2::star2::star2::star2::star2:

:zero: May 6th, 2023:

Sowed 2 seeds in pre-soaked FoxFarm Happy Frog potting soil, in peat pots. I cut the bottoms off of the peat pots because it causes problems with autoflowers. When it is time to transplant into the final home, I will just peel the side away as to not disturb the roots. This is mostly in an effort to be more efficient and produce less waste with fertigation.

Placed plastic domes over sowed seeds for humidity, and set in my germination chamber. They will germinate for 1-2 weeks before being placed outdoors.

I will now wait a few days, and day 1 will begin when green is visible above the soil.

:one: May 10th, 2023

Sprouts are poking through the surface today. I will wait until they both are standing and upload the first set of images.

:three: May 13th, 2023

They were both standing yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to get a picture in time. Today we have life just beginning for these two little things. Tomorrow we will up-pot them.

:two::six: June 4th, 2023

I apologize for the lack of updates. I had an equipment failure with my indoor grow setup, which resulted in me losing a lot of plants. Additionally, even the plants that could be saved were knocked over, and their identification sticks were scattered on my tent floor, so I do not know which strain is which anymore. I decided to just transplant everything outdoors, and combine all of my HUBA Seed Bank diaries into one -- this one.

I only just transplanted them from their tiny pots days ago, so they are not the strongest plants, but we will let mother nature take over and try to breathe some life into them. I do not like destroying plants. Everything is a winner if you have the space for it.

The images you see today are mostly unknown HUBA Seed Bank strains. The couple I know about are labeled as such. I will be soon starting a second round of HUBA Seed Bank cultivars, with proper identification. Until then, this will have to do.

:two::seven: June 5th, 2023

I know I moved some plants around yesterday and found a home for a couple other plants that lost their labels from the equipment failure last week. We have a 5th one in this diary now somehow. This disaster has me all confused, with hardly any of my many plants labeled anymore. I guess grab some popcorn folks. We have a big outdoor season this year, but most of them are mystery plants.

:two::eight: June 6th, 2023

I give up with identifying these. Rodents were picking at their labels today, and I lost two more. These are just fillers for the extra space I have. I am really looking forward to seeing this breeder's autoflowers though. I have heard very good things, so we should have some winners in any case.

Enjoy, and thanks for the support to all my growmies.
